i had my birthday drinks with my work colleagues and the night was great and all staff were really helpful and friendly 
always came and checked to see if we were okay and to let us know about kitchen closing times  

great night out 

Drove into their car park to enquire about rooms - saw a sign that said patrons only so went into the bar and bought a drink. Enquired about rooms and left. Next thing I got a parking fine for £100!  There was a machine to enter car details at the other end of the bar which I couldn’t see and the staff didn’t inform me about it

Car Park - be very careful!

Great find for a night before Warner Bros studio, 5 mins to shuttle bus. I was welcomed by 3 staff all friendly & helpful, Jack took me to my room & carried my bag (much appreciated Jack). Clean, friendly, quiet & very convenient.

Awful accommodation
 Booked double room got a single with shared toilet.  Looks like it's a hostel to be honest with having to lock your door qt all times . No one here overnight . Rough more like a refuse hostel and SS emergency housing  option. I'm really shocked to  be honest this is even rated as a hotel. I could touch the walls either side of my tiny single room. Dirty shower unit and a chair I wouldn't even put my bag in. Bring slippers with you !

Very welcoming, fantastic service.  Went out for a few drinkies and we was not disappointed Lovely atmosphere Highly recommend .food great too. Brilliant for families, menu amazing . Had a lovely afternoon, shout out to karen and her daughterl👍

Lovely visit

Visited this pub again after a great first visit! 
Staff were amazing and helpful, couldn’t fault them at all.

Food was great too! 
Wide range of food and drinks so there is something for everyone! 

Will definitely be returning!

Wow what an amazing place the staff couldn,t do enough they were so good the room I should have gone in had faulty lock no problem they moved me straight away the room I had was a single plenty space had a lovely square sink wardrobe table  and bedside table kettle hair dryer etc amazing bed and linen absoulty spotless  had shower in room but no toilet however it was right opp my room I didn,t have a problem with that .  I had food in the bar downstairs so good amazing prices had breakfast wow buy one get one free well worth staying I had breakfast and explain that I had allergies to egg no problem the said had extra beans well worth it 

Awesome stay 

We booked to stay at this hotel/pub to use as a home base. We had gigs in different locations around London but didn't want to drive in, so the plan was to get trains in and out. Perfect.
Easy to find, easy to park, lovely lovely staff.

Room was so clean and tidy and fresh, the area was so quiet and peaceful I loved it. Couldn't find the remote to make the TV work but that's nothing really for what we booked the room for so never bothered the staff about it.

We had lunch there that's day and breakfast the next day. Food and drinks lovely. Sat outside in the sun in the beer garden to eat lunch. Truly a gem of a place.

The problem for us came the next day, not the establishment at all, not even a little, but the damn rail strikes messed everything up for us. Instead of being able to catch the trains easily to and from our gigs it was now going to cost 80 for one uber! One way! We made the tough decision to move to a hotel closer to our last gig, because it was cheaper to pay for a second hotel room than it was to get a taxi to and from the gig, then that's if the uber decides at 11pm they want to take us on the hour drive!

We told the the lovely team behind the bar and they were so lovely and helped trouble shoot any issues for us. They then went above any beyond and refunded us the night we weren't able to stay!! We did not expect this or ask this of them, we entered into a contract and we were ok with it, we knew that when we made the choice, but she'd already sorted it for us.

Such a lovely act of kindness in the middle of such a stressful tiem for us. I couldn't rate them any higher. Such a lovely show of humanity.

Will definitely bare them in mind for my next stay, maybe when we hit the Harry Potter studio tour.

I have had a really good experience at the the southern cross and Gabriella was Amazing. The bar staff was Great. Quick service.
I had order for me and my friends drinks. Good price .. I ordered Food with a Lady called Gabrielle. It came well prepared and on time. She was presentable. And prompt. 5han you and carry on your Amazing Services :)

i came with family the other day the place is huge 
has a pool table and lots of tvs fit football 
they have karaoke night poker night and a quiz and the menu is huge the challenges on a friday are 25.% and massive. 
we had the steak fondue it’s enough to split with family and friends snd the kids had chocolate mania puddings 
the food was fantastic steak cooked to perfection 
we asked the assistant manager to say thank you to the chef she said she is new so thank you to the new chef kelly we will be back and thank you to fen she is lovely here sally enjoyed are day and we will be back soon
