I had a great B&B stay at this hotel for 5 nights. My room was clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and served. The staff I met were friendly and efficient. I would stay again.

Great stay in Weybridge

Incredibly disappointed, very poor greeting, had to wait around to be booked in, told we had to wait for drinks while the bar person was too busy trying to mix drinks from a crib sheet which took ages. Would have been happy to wait if we had been given a polite acknowledgement. Ate in the restaurant separately as one of our dinners was served cold not a nice way to enjoy my birthday. Wouldn’t recommend.

Poor experience all round

Stay here for 3 nights in the hotel
and had a fantastic breakfast and a birthday meal in the restaurant. Ever part of our stay from the staff to our bed rooms to bar and restaurant
Every person associated with the hotel couldn't have been more helpful.

Special mention to Alan,
He was the first staff member who checked us into the hotel, seeing i got crutches. The first thing he said was we could have moved to the ground floor disabled access bedroom if required. I mentioned it was my Wifes birthday so I booked into the restaurant for the monday evening
From working on reception to bar person to restaurant waiter to even keeping topped up logs on the open fires, always called us by our first names through out our stay. But from the cleaner to the hotel manager all brilliant and made you feel so relaxed, nothing was to much trouble from 1st minute till our last at this wonderful Hotel pub restaurant

Wife's Birthday

Used as a stay over for thope Park for a night food was excellent and breakfast(could off done with tomato sauce) only joking  the only negative is the mattress was not very comfortable other then that very happy will use again

Stood at check in for 10+ minutes being ignored……..seem to be a little short staffed, room clean, shower all good and bathroom very nice! Food very underrated, £18 for a burger and chips??? Not worth the money, there was a girl on duty, nothing was to much trouble, very helpful, didn’t interrupt if i was on the phone…..an absolute asset to the pub! Very professional! All in all its beefeater food so don’t expect too much. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean……and the beer is cold

Ok for a contractor stop over

I stayed here for one night this week. Initial impressions were good. Clean and tidy room and modern bathroom. Unfortunately that’s as good as it got. The front door of the pub kept banging with people coming and going up until closing time and you could here every conversation in the pub downstairs. The rooms had poor soundproofing so I could hear the tv next door until the early hours.  Breakfast staff then arrived prior to 6am again banging doors etc. one of the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had.

Ok if you don’t need sleep

Christmas Day. An average meal with slightly slow service - but the restaurant was full. But the experience was spoilt by over loud piped music. Why do places do this? Two of our party were slightly deaf with hearing aids and were completely isolated from any conversation - which is much of the point of a Christmas conversation. A definite minus.

Spoiled by loud music

this is a pub with rooms. nice old place but needs a massive make over. rooms adequate . the food is excellent but could do with cereals at breakfast. staff are ok but i wish they wouldnt call  us "GUYS"  instead of mr and mrs .......

ok but

Very clean room and comfortable with a good bed, food was very good and full English breakfast excellent, friendly staff especially Dave. Would certainly stay again. If visiting Brooklands it’s only 2 miles up the road. 

Short break

The Hotel was friendly and newly refurbished. The cookd breakfast was fine, but they really need a continental option too.
During breakfast on our last day, at the next table there was a meeting taking place between the hotel manager and an auditor...they were carrying out a full H&S Risk audit !! The communication was too loud and we could not help hearing the details...The 2 parties were back and forth to get paperwork all the time and the meeting seemed very unprofessional to us. Meetings in restaurants are OK, but not private stuff like H&S Audits and Risk Assessments - the hotel may not have an office, but there was plenty of other free areas in the restaurant where they could have had privacy. We felt most awkward and probably should have complained at the time, but it did not feel right to interrupt an important meeting like that.
