The Beeches is an oasis. After travelling from place to place my sister and I were very happy to stay with Steve and Mandy.  The beds were comfortable, the rooms pretty and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was a real treat.  We didn’t need to eat again til dinner. Thank you Steve and Mandy.  Hope to see you soon. 

An oasis.

Discovering The Beeches, with Mandy & Steve as hosts, has been a great find. It ticks ALL the boxes for a B & B and they, literally, do go the extra mile because they are happy to provide transport to and from Bristol Airport - whatever time of day/night your flight happens to be; whilst leaving your car in their save hands. The rooms are always clean and very well presented, together with lovely white, crisp linen sheets/towels. The breakfasts are served to perfection and with a great choice. The fruit salad is my favourite - so fresh with plenty of different fruits. When planning holidays, it’s always great to know we have The Beeches as our ‘stop off’ in both directions. Mandy & Steve are very friendly hosts and provide a great service. We have no hesitation in recommending them 110%!! 

Perfect from beginning to end.

The Beeches is the best B&B we have visited. Steve and Mandy are wonderful hosts and very helpful with advice on places to visit. Their home is elegant but very comfortable and nothing is too much trouble for them. Lots to see and do in the vicinity with an excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. We slept like logs in a very tranquil room overlooking the Church. A great base for the South West. 

Comfortable elegant surroundings in beautiful countryside

Steve and Mandy were very welcoming and our room was very comfortable.  Steve did our airport runs which were well organised and speedy.  They recommended a local pub for us to eat in which was just a short walk away too. A great stay and we’ll definitely be back.

A great stay.

Mandy and Steve were very accommodating and made us feel welcomed. The room and bathroom were well decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The B&B is right next to the Mendip activity centre so it’s a great place to stay and find things to do. Will come again

personable hosts with a keen eye for detail .the emphasis is on quality and nothing

 disappoints, spotlessly clean room and excellent breakfast , definitely 5 star .

5 star stay

What a lovely guest house, Steve and his wife were fantastic, friendly and very accommodating. The house is absolutely gorgeous, fantastically clean and spotless, the bedrooms very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning. 

Fantastic from start to end.

The host Steve welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room after explaining all the information we needed for our stay.
We were given an upgrade and the room was more than we could of asked for. The bed was comfortable and we had the top sheet that we asked for.
The en suite was compact but large enough to use.
The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. There was fresh fruit salad, toast and a selection of cooked items. You give your order for the cooked items the night before.

Excellent stay

My wife and I along with our two grandchildren (7 and 8) stayed at The Beeches for a couple of nights as a midway point for our summer break in Devon. It was the perfect location to spend a day at Cheddar Gorge a must (only 12mins away) and another day at the beach in Weston-Super-Mare (22mins). We had a large, lovely spotless room with a large queen bed and a double sofa bed. Both were pristine with fresh white linen and lovely and soft. A great nights sleep for sure, as we had to wake the grandkids which is unusual. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious (my vegan wife and vegetarian grandkids were well catered for). Congrats to Steve and Mandy for their culinary skills and their conscious effort to please. Genuine good natured folks with time to talk and share. A pleasure to stay and would highly recommend.

"Family stay at The Beeches"

Booked this property for the night prior to an early flight out of Bristol, and from the minute we arrived, we were greeted by Steve and Mandy, who were incredibly helpful ,as a member of our party was elderly with reduced mobility issues, and they showed patience and compassion, in the way they assisted her to enter the property, and manage the stairs.
Steve took us to the airport, leaving us with all the info we would need for the return pick up, and even willing to go the extra mile in offering to pick us up in our own car, which we had safely left at the house. The house itself is in a great location, in lovely surroundings, and is immaculately furnished, and very clean. In a nutshell, I would strongly encourage anyone to stay here, and his previous reviews speak for themselves.
