Hotel is older but clean and in a good location right off the interstate. Also there is a ice cream shop, dollar store, two restaurants and two gas stations in walking distance. Made a great half way point between Adventureland and Omaha zoo. Stayed two nights, no issues. Breakfast is cereal but there is a great breakfast place 15 minutes drive away.

Barely acceptable.  Large room, clean bed linens and towels, quiet running frig., but creepy broken ceiling tiles in bathroom, no hair drier, and NO PLUGS in the bathroom to even use my own!  TV remote was barely working. No coffee maker and none offered in the lobby either.

We booked a room here because of the close proximity to the interstate.  We loved the room with our king sized bed.  The room was clean, well maintained and very reasonable.  The front desk lady was very helpful, polite and courteous.  We will be staying here again and any time we pass by and need a place to relax!

Cute, Quaint, CLEAN!

This motel is an absolute gem, very conveniently located right off the highway, across dollar general which has more stuff than Walmart surprisingly, a great award instituted restaurants in the town of basically 2 sq miles, everything walking distance. Great welcome by the motel owners. Customer service is where it's at, super nice people and includes a basic breakfast of cereal,  coffee, muffins, juices, and donuts. I believe in the growing local economy of mom and pop motels and restaurants and its uniqueness not the corporate coffers of chains. Cannot beat the price!!! Basic accomodation of 2 beds or one, desk, ac, heat, microwave, fridge in the room and tv with channels. Again cannot beat the price for 50 miles any direction.

I typically like to stay at older motels for the nostalgia.  I expect the rooms to need updated, but my room at the Budget Inn was falling apart and absolutely disgusting.  It looked like all the did was make the bed after the last guest stayed. The toilet was covered in dry urine and the shower had chewing gum stuck to the wall.  

Unpleasant 

This room was very clean and newly upgraded.  I gave it 5 stars mainly for the price it was. Forty bucks. TV was ok but selection was low. ICE IN OFFICE. Pet friendly but not sure of a charge. Air or heat work great but you had to flip a switch for what you want. I would stay again . This was my second time. Good burgers across street at the Chuckwagon.

What a Deal

The people who run and work at this motel couldn't be nicer. When a booking error meant they had no more single rooms, they gave me a double at no extra charge. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean. My only word of warning for those traveling with pets, the rooms set aside for pets are all smoking rooms too. The booking error saved me from staying in one of these rooms, and if I had, I'm certain my review would be less positive.

Good Price and nice stay

The Adair Budget Inn was a pleasant surprise after a long drive in bad weather. It’s an older no frills place definitely but it was very clean, the beds were comfortable (no bed bugs),a good tv, nice staff and only $45 for the night.

A nice surprise 

We visited family and friends in Adair, Iowa during the holidays and were guests at this family-friendly motel/hotel for three days. Located right next to the motorway exit, near the gas station and restaurants, but still quiet. Price-performance is right! Ideal for a short stay on the way. The rooms are clean, the beds are large (queensize) and comfortable. The management personally takes care of the well-being of the guests. Breakfast is best enjoyed in the Chuckwagon restaurant across the street.
