New manager Ron English and administration assistant Rachel are an awesome team! Positive vibes any time you speak with them! They work daily to improve the resort. Only recommendation would be for corporate to allow them another maintenance worker, this is a large park and will be completely full soon.

Awesome new office staff!

This park is well maintained and clean! The pool and spa were perfect! 
There was a minor glitch in the laundry room with the app payment machine, it was out of order and required quarters to use the machines, but reduced the cost of them to $1 per load, which was fantastic!The spaces were really good size and we look forward to returning soon!


Really nice park

Be sure to get there AFTER 9 am & BEFORE 5 pm to check in. Grounds  are kept neat & clear of debre. The staff I met; John, Ron & Jim were very kind & helpful. If you have any of the following:  AAA, AARP, Good Sams, Vet be sure & tell them for a discount on up to 5 nites.

Countryside RV Resort Apache Junction, AZ

Of the Encore parks in the Mesa Apache Junction area this one is my least favorite. After a difficult stay at the beginning of the season, I spoke to Mike, the manager, and I was satisfied with his answers, but I’m back now and he is gone. Very little has changed. In fact, at this time there is no manager. It is one of the problems, not enough employees. Melissa, the employee I had the most trouble with is gone and thank goodness for that. She was just mean and spiteful.  Her replacement is busy since there is no manager and no other help in the office, but that is still no excuse for the lack of communication when a new unit checks in. You pick up a packet outside the office door and fill out the paperwork. Then you return it to the office and they just say. “Thanks or OK”. 
There is no good place to walk a dog. You can get a key to the dog walking gates and walk the dogs outside the park  but a person has to know that and ask for a key. They certainly didn’t mention it. There is a gate code on the paperwork but you have to notice it yourself. No one mentions it to you. If you come in on a weekend, the gate is closed and there is no way to get in. No one answers the phone or the “office” on the keypad. If you are lucky, someone who is already in the park will come along and let you in. When you turn your paperwork in, they give you a paper tag for your car and they could write it on that tag, but I didn’t even realize that placard was for the car. I thought it was for the RV and the code was not on it anyway. In fact there is no communication of welcome or information about the park except what you read in the packet. This situation has not improved. Naturally the office does not answer when the gate code doesn’t work. There is an emergency number on the paperwork but that number is out of service.
Suggestion, “Hi, welcome to Countryside. I see you have your paperwork there, thank you. Do you have dogs? I can give you a key to the dog gates so you can walk your dogs outside the park. Here is the placard for your car. I’ve written the gate code on it. Don’t forget to press the pound key before you enter the code. If you have any questions just let me know.” Also, send the gate code to folks coming in the park on the weekend or have numbers that actually work.
This is my last choice encore park in the area. They get 3 stars for cleanliness and amenities but they need more employees and more communication at check in.


Not my favorite

Wonderful place to stay.  Nights were calm and quiet.  No loud noises and no partying.  .  Felt like home.  Everyone we came in contact with was very nice.  Neighbors all were polite and welcoming.  Will definitely stay here again when visiting our granddaughter.  

RV resort

We had a very pleasant stay, a very clean place and very friendly staff, we were delighted with this place, the community very friendly, we recommend it without a doubt. When we are looking for a place to go, we will surely return here.

RV Stay

 there was a stop sign put at one of our busy corners  in the park.  With so many golf carts, bicycles and walkers in our park the need to be very careful at each and every corner.    Thanks to our new manager a new stop sign was put on the north side of the park at Owl Street.

Very safe and friendly.

Great people, friendly Manager, close to many fun things to do. Goldfield is a fun spot; it takes you back to the old west.  Many good places to eat.  Must see the Church of Elvis, you can go in and take a picture with Elvis.

Great park, lots of amenities. Friendly residents. Great manager that truly cares. Close to everything. Nice big heated pool and hot tub. Community room, billiards, workout room, 2 laundry areas, game night and activities, media room, art room. Decent layout and spaces. 

Very Nice park, close to everything

No dog walk area. Send you thru a gate o to a back street which is dark and unsafe looking at night. Site itself was ok. Mostly catered for permanent residents not visiting rvs.  Staff non communicative if you miss the stated check in time
