Don’t do it! Nasty carpet and smelly. Old broken furniture. Bathrooms small and don’t look clean. I will never stay here again. Thank God it was only one night and for what I paid $160, I was expecting better than this

Not worth it!! Overly priced

The shower was clogged, room smelled musty, grounds not well kept.  Spider web with Palmetto bug at eye level in hallway.   You know they see it, but they dont remove it.  Looks like it was there for weeks and probably still there. There are other much better choices in Athens at same or little more money.

Kind of run down

Room smelled very very moldy / musty...vent in bathroom shower had mold all over it, carpets were disgusting...check in clerk wouldn't let you use bathroom while checking in...said it was out of order...

Do Not Stay Here !!

Pay your house keeping people more so that they will value their job and check behind them

Act like you care about your clientele or the state will take your property because all of your low paying customers will be using and selling drugs out of your sliding glass doors

Dirty room with roaches! Left over cigarette butts and cheeseitz on the floor.  Charged for an extra day. Still haven’t received refund! Crooked picture about to fall off wall. Refrigerator that wasn’t cold or even cool. Dirty microwave. Noisy!

Don’t stay here

I really did enjoy my stay.... calm an relaxing which is a must for me.... I do work hard when I come to Athens I live 2 hours away an just to be able to relax when there is amazing.... I just mainly wanna shower clean room an nice bed to sleep in I find that awesome.... thank you for all yall do....

Dishonest management and otherwise awful.Took forever to just check in - not a good sign. Our toilet wouldn’t flush. Front desk wouldn’t answer phone. Had to go to lobby where there were no customers in lobby, only unoccupied front desk woman (why couldn’t she answer phone?!?!). My adult daughter went to lobby with me. We reported that toilet wouldn’t flush. Front desk woman’s immediate flippant response was, “We have no more rooms.”  I wasn’t asking for another room (we had unpacked) - simply wanted someone to repair toilet. Rude front desk woman said she couldn’t fix toilet but that maybe the next front desk woman could but that she wouldn’t be there until midnight! Of course, I was wondering why I should believe that next front desk woman could repair toilet if this one couldn’t?!?! Is there no service person to do this?!?!  Toilet repairs are certainly a common recurring problem from for a hotel. So I asked if she was suggesting that we use bathroom in tub and then be awakened at midnight for unlikely repair?!?!  She seemed content with this. I was lodging with my husband and two children. She just repeatedly said, “We have no other rooms.” She then flippantly remarked “…or you can just come to lobby and use restroom here when you need to.”  Mortified by the mental vision of my husband traipsing to lobby in 3 am in his boxer shorts, I responded that we better be getting a HUGE discount. Unbelievably she then said, “I have another room.” SO SHE WAS LYING WHEN SHE REPEATEDLY SAID SHE HAD NO ROOMS. Packed up all our stuff and moved rooms. 
In room coffee: coffee pods in room visibly do not fit machine - clear just by looking at it. Given experience night before, didn’t bother complaining. 
OLD air conditioner that sounded like freight train for the 5 minutes it ran, made loud noise to turn off, then silent for 20 minutes, then jarring loud noise to come back on for 5 minutes. Completely disruptive to sleep. 
Second morning, sitting in breakfast/lobby having coffee (bc one in room didn’t work) and same rude woman tells me she has to leave for 15 minutes. I acknowledged having heard her. She continues to mumble until ultimately I realize she wants me to leave but doesn’t just come out and say she wants me to leave?!?!  As I’m exiting, I tell her I was typing my review to warn future prospective customers of her saying there were no more rooms when we had broken toilet. Unbelievably, she said, “I immediately offered you another room when you reported.”  Astonished, I reminded her that my adult daughter witnessed everything including her suggesting we use lobby toilet for our bathroom!  Then I noticed cameras and television behind desk which would have/should have recorded everything. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE - UNBRIDLED LIAR!  I entirely expect a response to this post from HOJO denying bc rude woman now trying to conceal her treatment of my family but she is DISHONEST and realizes once they get your money, there is little you can do but GIVE THEM BAD REVIEWS!!

We enjoyed our stay, the property and rooms are well kept and the staff is friendly. Also, the continental breakfast is fresh and consistent. Friendly staff makes a huge difference when you're traveling! Nice job guys!!?

Great stay

Room was disgusting when I walked in. Bed linens were visibly soiled and cigarette burned. The walls were grimy and the wall in the hallway was splattered with what appeared to be blood. I left my room immediately and requested a refund which was denied and then received a call after I left and was granted a refund. 

Absolutely Filthy

This hotel has a wonderful staff but everything else is horrible. The electricity did not work in the bathroom so there was no hair dryer. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling. The shower head loose from the wall.  Window/sliding glass window current was full of holes.   The kicker was when we returned to room one evening there were bugs everywhere. We actually paid over 400 dollars a night for this room.  This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in
