Hotel is fine for a sleep. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Room was big but super dated. I slept fine. Ice machine was out of service and the temp outside was 108f.

I think with some modernization it will be a good roadside spot but for right now I wouldn’t take my wife there unless it was an emergency.

First room they gave us: I inspect beds to make sure sheets are clean.....NOPE! Hair from previous use, ya just gotta make sure the creases are fresh! We asked for a different room, the manager did apologize and expressed great embarrassment. Once we were in room number 2 husband went to shower and the water came out yellow, a filled plastic cup looked like beer! We just had to see if we could get a refund and the mgr blamed the city water! 
We had to leave anyway, losing the 127.00 we paid! NEVER AGAIN!

We were really disappointed by this hotel. For the price we paid, we were expecting to have a better experience.. 
We were not impressed by the cleanliness of the room, it needs a serious deep clean in our opinion. Carpets and bed sheets are old and they are holes in it. The only positive point was the welcome & the fact that they offered us bottles of water because the restaurant nearby was closed on Thanksgiving night.

Disappointed

My friend and I decided to stay our one night in Bandera at this place. Nice clean room. The beds were a little high up for an arthritic like me to get into. Mine was pretty soft as well which made changing my sleeping position difficult. Also, the toilet was low so getting up was very painful for my knees.  But I’d still give it four stars.   It’s a nice place. 

Nice Place

We booked this last minute as our plans changed and we were visiting a ranch nearby and it didn't disappoint.  There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use this however the hotel was lovely, very cute and in keeping with the surrounding area.  The room was clean, the decor a bit old fashioned but I think that works with the hotel being where it is and the style of it.  It had a fridge and microwave and the beds were really comfortable.  Our room was at the front of the hotel, roadside but we weren't disturbed by any noise at all.

I would recommend this hotel and we will likely be staying here again when we return to Bandera next year.

Lovely little motel in a cowboy town

At first glance, the room, though dated, was inviting.  However, the door didn't shut tightly and without the safety latch, it was easy to open. Our disinfectant wipes revealed that everything was dirty.  The coffeemaker was dirty and upon rinsing, we discovered moldy coffee grounds in it.  Needless to say, we didn't make coffee.  There was no grab bar in the shower.  There was a raveled mess of extension cords and cords for the TV, lamp and phone on the dresser.  We were awakened by someone outside at 2 a.m. our second night.  A man with a flashlight was looking into the car parked next to ours.  When he saw us looking at him, he took off in his pick-up truck.  We couldn't see the license plate because he didn't turn his headlights on.  Lastly, they advertise a restaurant on the premises; however, the restaurant is NOT open for breakfast

Check in was a breeze.  Guy behind the counter was very helpful with local information.  Room was clean and comfortable.  Very handy to restaurant at the rear of the hotel, however, we did not dine there.  A little far to walk into town as it was exceptionally hot when we were there.  All in all would recommend anyone visiting the unique little cowboy town.

Cowboy Town Accommodation

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms.. Front Desk was  incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travel with two kids (one 5  year old and  another 7 year old) so they recommended 2 queen bed suites and that solved the purpose of taking care of kids while resting all night, Bathroom was clean and shower head was excellent. 

Thanks for making our visit to Florence that much better

best comfortable beds in wild west

Definitely will stay again! The beds and mattress were new and very, very comfortable! Arrived in town early and inquired if I could check in early and they were more than happy to have us. The room was clean! Staff was very helpful!! There is a nice path and bridge to access the river bank, right on the property! I will return again soon!

Great beds, location, and staff!

It’s was ok, actually enjoyed the black light stars, was a unique touch. Also served double purpose to check the bed for stain, luckily no obvious ones we could see. Areas a little sketchy, there are random spots of who knows what through the walls and such. Spot worn through the carpet and bad water pressure in the tub. The worst part though was the bed of hard springs that was provided. There was literally almost no give/padding. Sadly, I am now having pain all through my body. I don’t have any history of chronic pain and never have I had a mattress reap such havoc on me before. Probably would only stay again if no other choice, I think I could only last one night on that bed.
