Clean and with comfortable beds, linens and pillows.  Much needed updates include electrical outlets, which are scarce, inconvenient and will not hold plugins for PEDs.  No heat in our room, but there was a plug in heater which i didn’t know how to work.    Rooms were large with a comfortable chair.  All in all, I’m glad we stayed.  Rassmi was very kind and brought us ice.  It is the only pet friendly lodging in Bedford within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and coffee.  Very near National Museum of American Coverlets which is a must see!

In City Location!

Not a nice place!  Air conditioning was not on when we arrived and was inadequate for the room.  The shower head did not work correctly., spraying just a stream of water like a garden hose.  Towels and sheets appeared well used.  Electrical outlets were few and also not in good repair.  Wiring for room air conditioner was exposed.

Won’t Be Back to the Motel Townhouse

Use of leaf blower before 7:30am to blow-off sidewalks-Way too EARLY!  Bathroom: screen ripped a lot in window; no drinking cups, only 2 feet of toilet paper on roller (no extra roll in room); tub water handle horrible -ready to fall off.  A/C unit SMELLED when turned on - moldy smell.  Door lock poor.  This motel falls into the category of a foreigner's ownership who does the MINIMAL effort at MINIMAL expense.

Sad example of the hospitality iindustry

I arrived way later than intended, in the middle of the night, and was still checked in without incident. And then when I slept in and as a result had a late checkout, the manager was understanding and didn’t charge me late fees. Great customer service and place to stay when passing thru Bedford! Would definitely stay here again.

Great overnight stay 👍🏼

I found this place by map search. Plenty of parking. Fair price for a good night’s rest. While the room was a bit dated it was spacious. Good internet. Easy walking distance to much of this beautiful town.

Nice stay

We were traveling from Longwood Gardens to Ohio and stayed in Bedford.  Instead of staying at the chain motels, we decided to drive into the town of Bedford and found the Motel Town House.  The cost was very low - $60 a night. The room was dated, but clean.  There was a TV and A/C.  The towels could be improved.  The staff person was friendly.  We walked into town which was quaint and has an interesting history.  No breakfast was available.

A budget motel in Bedford, PA

Spent a few nights here while visiting friends ample rooms a bit dated but comfortable and well situated. Close to a good pub and right in the centre of downtown Bedford. If your on a budget I would say this is a prime location.
