One of the best rooms I have had in two and one half weeks. Clean inside and out, updated furniture, plenty of room and plenty of light. If you are traveling, do not hesitate to stop here. A great value.

The best.

Super clean and convenient location for Lake Barkley. They have even made upgrades since the last time we stayed.   Really like the new boat lane. Wifi wouldn't work for me. And they don't have a hot breakfast  anymore. That adds more cost to us.

I have stayed here now three times because this motel is exceptionally clean and nice. The owner greeted me like a friend this time and it was nice to be remembered. I have two dogs and they give this place their highest rating! They are connoisseurs and this is their favorite motel from home to Idaho. They charge a bit more for dogs than most places but don’t worry — it’s definitely worth it. As a single woman traveling alone across the country, it felt like a very welcoming oasis. I promise you that you won’t find a cleaner, safer, or happier place than the Rodeway Inn in Cadiz.

Really enjoyed this very friendly and clean place. Had a king bed that was extremely comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and the whole property is obviously loved. Would highly recommend stayed at this little gem.

Great motel with a boutique hotel feel


Great!  I recently booked a room for my daughter and was so happy when she told me “this is a really nice place.  So clean, I like it here. "    The staff was pleasant and very accommodating when we extended her stay.  Upon check-out my daughter said she would be happy to stay here again.  


Pleasant staff and nice room.

We stayed at this motel twice.  The first time was spectacular, the room was clean and delightfull.  It is hard to find a good clean motel, so we had another trip planned, so we arranged our schedule to be able to stay at this motel again.  We were traveling with our dog this time, so we booked a pet-friendly room.  The room we stayed in was horrible!  The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was that it smelled like cigarette smoke.  Their pet-friendly rooms must have been their smoking rooms at one point.  The next thing I noticed was that that there were flies everywhere.  My husband and  I were swatting flies all night, very disgusting.  The third thing I noticed that the carpet needed a good vacuuming.  When I went to plug the coffee pot in I found an old bottle cap under the table.  I have no idea how long it had been there.  You could tell that they did not do a good job of cleaning the room.  The corners were dirty and dusty.  We pay more for pet-friendly rooms for the extra cleaning they have to do, but I am not sure where the extra cleaning comes in, because this room didn't get it!

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and up to date!!! Thank you very much!!! Having 3 queen beds really helped us to get good night rest with 3 children!! Thank you very much for accommodating our larger family!!

3 queen beds!! Perfect for older children family!!!

This family-run motel is well maintained, clean, and quiet. The rooms are neat and the plumbing fixtures seem new--everything works. Altogether, the experience is one of frank and simple goodness, rather homelike. The location is within two blocks of Highway I-24. A Mac Donald's and several restaurants are nearby. Parking is abundant, which is a plus for RVs and trailers.

Quiet and home-like motel

My wife and I stopped here and paid too much. It is very clean, particularly for a Rodeway. The parking area and all buildings were also very well-lit. Beds were comfortable enough as well.

The issue is that we paid $84 + tax (we should've booked ahead) because we stopped last minute. The issues were that there was a broken towel rod by the sink, the light over the sink was missing a light cover, and when we took showers in the morning we ran out of hot water. The towel and light are minor inconveniences, but running out of hot water is inexcusable in an $84 room.

We paid the $84+ tax, so that's on us. We should've looked more, but we were tired and hungry. I would definitely stay at this hotel again IF THE PRICE WAS $25 cheaper. It's a nice hotel---just book to get a good price.

Very clean, but overpriced

Customer service is AWESOME! This place is underrated. The rooms are classy & clean. The entire staff is about the guests being comfortable & pleased. I stayed at a nearby place & I simply had to move because the Customer Service was so bad! These rooms are nicer & the service is 10 times better. Believe it or not, I will only stay at the Rodeway Inn when I’m in Cadiz, KY. Try it, you’ll LOVE IT!
