Paradise

Good beds and pillows, convenient, reasonably and competitively priced, large bathrooms, A/C, sliding glass door to a lovely little patio area outside complete with chairs and a table.  Gardens are lush and green and peaceful and relaxing.  Sometimes quiet, sometimes kids.

Easy check in and out, friendly folks too. 

Only thing, dining table and nightstand had dried on food / condiment, maybe BBQ sauce; wood grain, easy to miss. Otherwise spotless.

Very nice, peaceful, pretty, comfortable

the staff there was very friendly and nice. rooms were very clean and roomy. grounds around the hotel was beautiful. i would stay there again . first time staying there was impressed.first time there since the fire the town is rebuilding lots of business there  and homes being built.

3 night stay

The room was very spacious, more like a studio apartment, with a sofa, chairs and table, and microwave and refrigerator. There was new carpet and a patio with seating outside the sliding glass doors. The grounds are large and well kept, plenty of mature landscaping, and a private gate to the 5-mile long walk/bike path through town.

We really loved it.

I went to go an d visit friends that live in Paradise.
this was the best location and very clean rooms too.
they even have a  pool for those hot days 
grounds are very nice and well maintained    
they have a   continental breakfast that my granddaughter enjoyed.

will definitely stay there again

This property is getting older but is well maintained, except... we lost power in half our room and the staff were non-committal as to maintenance being called on a weekend. Apparently they did because the problem was fixed when we returned that evening. A couple of pluses, the desk staff were generally cheerful and they allow pets! High carb all sweets breakfast with fresh fruit, and a cheerful little breakfast nook to eat it in.

OK but Some Problems - Facility and Attitude

The room is large with a nice table and space for luggage.  This was the best place we had found in the area and have stayed here multiple times over the years; however, this was the worse to date.  We checked in and had to wait while the changed the room they had put aside for us.  During that period we got to learn about how complaining about someone parking in your space might result in the police being called on you and although according to the clerk the manager doesn't like that she threatened to do this we still got the warning and story.  When we went to the room after waiting 20 minutes we had to step over this large sticky substance onto a doormat that was covered with hair and fuzz.  After it wasn't cleaned the next day, I went to inform the staff and instead of being told we are sorry we will get right on this, I was given every excuse from it is clean to maintenance is responsible and they don't work weekends.  A simple, let me check or what is the room would have gone a long way but apparently, customer opinions are not valued by this same clerk.  As far as the room interior goes - this is a place you bring your own pillow as the ones they provide are thin and really worthless.  The bathroom smelled of wet dog and urine.  The AC never really cooled the room down and they didn't replace soap when they serviced the room. Next time we will go try another place.  It is sad that a single employee can have such an impact but that wasn't the only issue just one that couldn't be overcome.

Landscaping is nice

I usually stay here when I go to Paradise.  The rooms are clean, it is usually very quiet, and good beds.

The breakfast offerings are sorely lacking, however.  Most of it is sugar based.  Most of the cereals are heavily sugared as are the pastries and muffins.  Some hard boiled eggs, toast and toaster, and fruit salad would be good.  I am vegetarian and diabetic so the choices for me were next to nothing.  Even though it is the nicest game in town, the breakfast for the price of the room is not a good feature.

This is an older Motel, and even though it is clean, it needs some work on the wear & tear. It's getting a little tired now.

Beautiful Setting and Grounds

I was walking along the California highways, I came across the Ponderosa Gardens Motel sign, decided to stay a few nights and have no regrets about anything in the world. It's a very modern, clean Motel with excellent staff. You notice that they have taken care to keep the garden and the motel in perfect condition since everything is in perfect condition. I'm very happy to know that the reception also speaks Spanish. I can only recommend this motel to anyone who wants to feel at home and appreciate the cleanliness and warmth that it offers.

The paradise in paradise.

We went there in September for a car race, and we thought it would be a very good place to spend the night to celebrate our 40th birthday. We live in Medford, so the road is nice and we arrive in a nice setting. We've been coming here for years and we really appreciate the lovely place and the lovely staff.
