This was without a doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. I didn’t expect much, but I always hope for cleanliness if nothing else. My husband, daughter and I stayed the night before the John Tanner triathlon because we live about a 2 hours drive away. We settled on this place because it was the only lodging we could find that was pet friendly. We were only going to be there for a matter of hours so I thought it would be fine for the night. 

I walked into the lobby to check in and it seemed to be an okay start. It was a little after 10pm. It smelled clean. The ladies at the desk were nice enough. They told me that the property was non-smoking (no problem for us there). The process was easy. 

We drive around to our room and noticed about 8 people out by the pool. They were having…let’s just say…a little too much fun, but it was probably about 10:30 at this time, so we thought they would turn in before too long. Surely the pool would have a closing time!? Well that was a dumb assumption. We could hear the obnoxiously loud thump of their music the entire night. The room was NOT clean. My husband told me not to even look at the shower. Sheets had hair on them…BOTH beds! And to top it off, it smelled as if someone was literally smoking marijuana and blowing smoke into the vents of our “non-smoking” room the entire night. 

The breakfast wasn’t even mediocre. Again. I didn’t expect much, and I got less than I’d hoped for!

Never again!

The property was fine, nicely lit, felt safe, and I was able to  Enjoy the breakfast.  I will stay here again if visiting the area. Room was clean and very comfortable, check in and check out were both quick and easy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff was Great and Friendly. The price was great. The mattress was comfy. The mini fridge cooled perfectly. Overall I would stay here again. Better than most in town. They even helped us with out luggage, which they didn't have to in the extreme cold temperature.

Right now this Quality Inn is very disorganized. Couldn't get into the room we were assigned because it was under renovation, so we were given another room, which had yet to be renovated, so the carpet was old and stained, and so were the 2 chairs in the room. And most disappointing, the swimming pool was closed. One of the reasons we had booked this hotel was that it had a pool, but when we showed up hot and tired from a long journey wanting to get into the pool, it had nothing but a small puddle of nasty rainwater in it at the bottom.

Under renovation

Nasty carpet, bathtub void of ceramic, cracks in sink, floor tiles, breakfast was packaged pastry, no drinks, no fruit, no paper bag ( LOL).  Rude front desk help IF you could find anyone.  Only saving grace were comfortable beds and pillows. Walls had stains and even a footprint. If we had not been so exhausted we would have traveled on.

Run for your life!

Excellent service from checking in at the front desk and very clean room, the refrigerator, bathroom and very clean towels without any leftover spots. Bed was nice/clean and again no spots. The only drawback I had would be we were in a non-smoking room and yet people were outside smoking weed which smells horrible. I know that there is nothing that the Hotel Staff can do.

Vacation

About the only good thing I can say is that the hotel is only 1 block from Tanner facilities. I stayed there from a  Mon to a Sat and although I booked the room for $68 a night, when I got my bill, As the week went by, the price of the room went up. By Sat checkout, I was paying $76 base rate. Fresh fruit is put out for breakfast on Mon, and as the week goes on, the fruit is never replaced! I also asked several times to have my remote replaced for the TV, and never done. Had to turn on and off in back of TV. Big gaps under the entrance door. I submitted a survey to Corp, and all that was said was Sorry, we did not meet your expectations, hope you consider us on your next stay. Don't count on it!

Close to Hospital That's it!

This place is filthy. Dirty sheets and walls. Furniture is worn and dirty. I'd stay any where but here.  Got stuck buying this on hotwire. Breakfast was very gross and same every day. Feel like i'm being bitten but don't see bed bugs or fleas.

Dump

The hotel is off a busy road and I had a room facing the street..so not a very restful night. The room was well appointed and updated but smelled damp especially the bathroom. It smelled like mold and the shower water was lukewarm at best. Ironically the sink water was steaming...go figure. Overall for the money spent it was fine.

Short stay

We pass through Carrollton every year to visit friends have always used this property but no more.  Noticed it started going down a couple years ago when it changed ownership.  This time it was awful.

The gal that checked us in was very friendly and helpful but that was it for positive experience.  The room is worn and tired looking which I expect from older properties but dirty no.  Lots of fingerprints on and around the entry door.  Patched unpainted holes on the walls.  Huge stain on the carpet.  

The worst was the tub area.  Ceiling had lots of peeling paint and evidence of water issues.  No tub stopper.  Mold and grime in and around the tub.  I reported this when I checked out.  The gentleman at the desk wasn’t particularly interested.
