Modest exterior residential neighborhood but very nice interior accomodations. Bus stop across the street down to the right about 7 houses. Middle class residential neighborhoid gives you a feel for that sector of Charlottesville. Easy access to all major points. 

Love the kitchen and vitals, all about Organic, sustainable, recycle, conservation.  Rooms are quite nice, living room

My daughter and I stopped in to attend a conference in Charlottesville. The hosts were very warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with many organic foods that even I could eat! I don’t do added sugar or gluten so I normally just count on going without in a situation like this but they had MANY choices. I liked being able to make my own breakfast and not feel the pressure of eating something out of politeness. It was also nice that I could use the fridge for personal items. They have excellent coffee with just about every way you could ask to make it. I liked the lack of TVs making noise through the house. Loved their overall way of living, it was very much in line with mine. All natural soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Composting, cloth napkins, solar power, you get the idea. But I would say the best part was their warmth. They just really did a good job at making us feel right at home. Also, the location was excellent. So close to everything. Checking in and out was easy and hassle free. Color coded keys were a nice added touch. Oh! And the price was out of the world for the area and the food choices. Would definitely recommend staying.

Excellent bed and breakfast

The friendliest and most generous guesthouse of our travels. 
Bedrooms are small and you share a bathroom with guests staying in the other 2 rooms. Hosts Raven and Flame live downstairs.  But this all works smoothly because of the welcoming environment hosts Raven and Flame have created. They go out of their way to introduce everyone and make them feel welcome. And they supply a very generous selection of organic produce - including great coffee and every possible kind of coffee maker. The result is breakfast is a convivial and friendly affair. And it is well organised and immaculately clean and tidy.
The recommendations for dining out were excellent - all within walking distance and produced the best meal of our trip - shrimp and grits at the Beer Run.

Welcoming and generous hosts

We were very pleased with the kind and cordial reception. The offer for breakfast was overwhelming for American conditions. The hosts place great emphasis on ecological and sustainable lifestyles. We liked it very well. Charlottesville is a very beautiful and cozy city. We were very touched by the action Play for Ukraine.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going the extra mile to assist us in our local ventures around Charlottesville. The environment was clean and welcoming, with a lovely screened-in porch to enjoy birdsongs over yummy morning coffee. The DIY breakfast options are healthy and numerous, with lots of fruit, eggs, and oatmeal. We look forward to a return visit!

Comfortable, cozy, and friendly!

We had a wonderful stay at Fairhaven Guesthouse. The house is super cute and sparking clean. It is easy to find and close to downtown Charlottesville (we were able to walk to the downtown mall with no problem). The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and cozy. Raven and Flame are very friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. Thank you!

Awesome place!!

Property was easy to find, close to down-town with free on street parking. Sparkling clean, all the amenities we needed, and breakfast was provided with organic and fair trade food. Hosts were gracious and engaging in conversation.

Farihaven Guesthouse

Flame and Raven gave us a warm welcome to their cozy home, and we had a very pleasant stay. We had an exelent breakfast. The bed was comfy. We would love to come back, if we ever visit charming Charlottesville again.

Wonderful experience

A small boutique guest house run by the most amazing & helpful people you will ever meet. Don't stay in one of the big chains when you can receive service like this. A few extra services available, fully stocked fridge & food etc that add the finishing touches. The only place to stay when visiting Charlottesville

Three small bedrooms, scantily furnished with no tv, share one bathroom.

Not my idea of a b&b.
