This place is nasty and dirty. I had the worst experience walked in to the room smelling like weed, the floor had bugs crawling, the sheets were all stain, walls had splattered dead bugs, drugs paraphernalia under the bed. The front desk service was awful and rude. They would not refund any of the money. This place needs to be checked by the health department. DONT STAY HERE!!!!

Disgusting Place

Run down , filthy, and catering to long term tenants of questionable characters.  The room reeked of tobacco! We saw proustite activity, homeless coming and going .  A real dive meth motel. people in their cars in the parking lot chain smoking cigarettes all night long. Don't say we didn't warn you !!

There have only been a couple times in my life when I've arrived at a hotel and found the place so filthy, so unsanitary, so dilapidated, so disgusting that I said to myself, "I can't stay here. I don't care about the money. My health is more important than the money. I'm going somewhere else." Haven Inn of Chico was one of them! Stay away from this place at all costs. Go somewhere else, even if that means booking a hotel in Oroville or another town nearby.

So filthy I had to leave

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was what looked like blood on our sheets and there was no cleaning done during our stay... or in general. The front counter attendant was nice but shady. Make sure you don’t leave your credit card by accident when you check in. I watched the attendant « forget » to give both the gentleman before me and myself back our cards, we had to ask for them. It’s cheap but do yourself a favor and pay a few extra bucks for a safe and clean hotel room!

A place to sleep 

We booked this motel because it's located quite close to Sierra Nevada Brewing Co and it was affordable. Should've paid more. The experience was quite horrible. The lady behind the bars (reception) wasn't that friendly but the worst part was the room. Dirty and really worn out. One of the worst motels we've ever stayed.

good location easy to find off hi way 99 , around $64. total ,just wanted a place to sleep for one nite two people . brother in law paid $20 . more at  motel 6  worst part of trip was the temp . chico was for a family memorial.

It's not a bad looking Inn from roadside.
When I checked in I got an unsettling feeling from the front desk that made me wary and a bit sleepless. Just an impression.

The furniture was big and and the room was huge. They forgot to put a table so that I could eat at or write at if needed. I pulled the bedside table over and there was some interesting stuff behind it. Stuff that should've been vacuumed and if I had a lighter would be illegal in CA-rhymes with Manga.

I know that complaining about someone making noise in an adjacent room can go badly in a number of ways but come on! They were either jumping off the bed onto the floor over and over or someone was playing basketball. For the entire floor to be shaking and this place is a single level! That finally stopped around midnight-what the heck I was up anyway.

In the morning the sun was shining, one of my neighbors was meditating outside so I went on my merry way.



One Night and kind of glad to leave

The room was really small and worn out... disgusting really. The towels were dirty and there were a lot of ants in the room. It didn't smell that fresh either. Please spend couple more dollars and skip this. The only reason we chose this was the fact that it's pretty close to Sierra Nevada Brewpub.
