The accessible room was perfect for us. It was great to have a Culvers Restaurant right across the street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and of ample size. The breakfast variety could be improved. 

A nice, clean, affordable no-frills motel

Room had really bad odor, filters in ac gross, brought to front desk for cleaning, had a bounty sheet in with the filter that was black. No couch, lot of dead space in room. The other room had a couch and another table. Chair in room was gross, stains, cuts... Told it was a pet room and must have booked last minute. Booked over 90 days out. Guess I need to ask not to be in a pet room from now on. Shoes stick on tile floor in bathroom and by the sink in main room. Dead bugs in toilet. Wifes room had huge spider in ice bucket.

No highlights, should have ran away, sketchy people in parking lot and smoking by entrance doors and just inside.

when puling up to the hotel there was some pretty sketchy people in the parking lot when i went to check in the lady checking us (my fiance and i) in was not very professional when we got all checked in she assigned us into a room that wasnt even clean so we were switched to another room when i made the reservation i specifically asked for 1 bed and when we were moved to another room we got 2 beds we did not have a dnd no laundry bag no conditioner when my fiance went to ask for some (thats when he was told that they didnt have any) the lady at the front desk gave him her personal bottle of conditioner for me to use the dust was unbelievable hair galore in the bathroom the paint was peeling off the ceiling well the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the whole room the clock had the wrong time the linen was very dingy full of stains and wholes the screen was popped out (which was a security issue) and there was trash all over the property i can honestly mark this 1 off of hotels not to stay at......the breakfast was horrible also all the tables were dirty and the bed was surprisingly comfortable

HORRIBLE

Booked this & hadn’t read reviews until too late to cancel so was scared it would be awful. Pleased to say the room was clean, odor free, tidy. Bathroom and sink were spotless. Towels were soft, not worn or with holes. Sheets clean. Refrigerator was clean. Easy chair could stand upholstery cleaning but I’ve seen worse in hotels @ twice the price. Booked nonsmoking room-noted cigarette butts by back door could be swept better but overall good value. It’s obvious they worked on the issues noted on previous reviews.

Told me they hired new housekeepers...it shows!

You would think that with a HUGE car show weekend this place would take some pride and step it up to be sure the rooms were CLEAN...BUT NOPE! I'm Just glad that I packed my own pillow and blanket. After stripping the bedding, at least the mattresses were nearly new looking and clean because all the bedding was stained.. phone and fridge dirty.. along with tacky grimy feeling carpet... so gross and never again. I'd rather camp in a tent, at least then I know the bugs I'm sleeping with! These photos don't do justice for how gross it really is.. spoke with staff and choice  was take it or leave it, being 181 miles from home and all rooms booked in town along with campgrounds, we stayed... again glad I had my own pillow n blanket! No discount given or offered... the American pride and cultural of taking care of your guest is slowing fading away. 

CLASS car show weekend

We spent one night at this hotel and it was the WORST experience I have ever had in a hotel.   We realized that the walls were paper thin when the couple next to us started fighting at 12:30 and didn't stop until 3:30AM.   We heard every detail of their argument.  They were yelling at each other- both being verbally abusive.   The man shoved the bathroom door open and hurt the lady's toe which resulted in loud crying.   The man left at one point and when he returned the lady wouldn't let him back in the room.   The man began to violently pound on the door for over 20 minutes.  The gentleman at the front desk did not know what to do.   He seemed surprised when I suggested he call 911.   The lady in the room eventually called 911 herself and the police showed up at their door at 3:15AM.  (In hindsight, I should have called 911 right away.)   The rooms were NOT clean- we found an empty soda bottle between the bed and the night stand.  Again, WORST hotel experience EVER.   There is no protocol in place for unruly guests and they offered no refund even though we only got 3 1/2 hours of sleep the entire night.

Night from HELL

My 3 kids, husband, an brother inlaw had moved my mom to iowa from wisconsin. So, days of endless packing, an than traveling, and unloading, we were all just exhausted... So, we rent 2 rooms for the night (219&225) there was hairs in the sinks in both rooms, mirrors were very dirty, urine & hair on the toilets in both rooms, dust an grime in drawers, toenails on carpets along with a marble, rubberband, and whatever else, one window was letting in cold air, wall by window above the aircondioner/heat unit was damaged, it was sad... So, i just used cleaner I had with me an cleaned up the rooms myself no biggie.. Well than to my surprise before we checked out this morning,(as a courtesy I like to tidy up, and strip beds along with gather the towels, and garbage to help make their jobs easier since I have been in the Housekeeping business for the last 18 years) I find nasty pillows, an matress pads, and one pillow didn't even have a pillow protector on(not that it mattered, even the ones with it on were disgusting), and the shower curtain had pink mold on it as well. I will not choose to rent a room there in the future when we visit that is for sure... This was not worth $167 at all...(only lets me add 10 photos, these are the worst, but I have more) The continental breakfast was ok though, and coffee was alright (would be nice if there was a coffee pot an coffee in the rooms, but there is not..) Staff was nice, so didn't want to be rude to them.

Nasty Rooms

Hotel is ok for the money. Not a four star hotel, struggles to be a three star. Back exit door could not be closed. WiFi worked good. Rooms had a bit of odor to them. Staff was friendly, however the owner was not friendly at all. Maybe he should just let the staff interact with the public.

We arrived at the hotel at 10:00PM.  It was busy and we waited 15 mins till someone was free to check us in. Upon check in we had to carry luggage up three flights of stairs to find out that the key they provided didn't work. We had to carry everything back down, got a new key and back up again.  I was doing all of this with 3 exhausted children...I was not happy.  The check-in/breakfast area was so crowded I didn't even see what breakfast was offered, but I was ready to leave. The staff we interacted with were nice and helpful, but the building set up and lack of staff will keep me away in the future.

Lacking space and standard conviences, but great staff

I got a room with my service dogs.  I can not say enough great things about Shawda the front desk receptionist.  She was so pleasant and welcoming. She brighten my rough day.  When I had a problem with my room because of my service dogs. Shawda immediately took care of the problem. I enjoyed a clean room and a wonderful warm greeting from Shawda. I will be back without a doubt.
