Owners are remodeling this location. We stayed in an updated room. Everything was new, the room was very clean and the mattress was comfortable. Honestly, the room was great, especially for the price. If you’re wanting breakfast you need to go early; it was wiped out by 8:30 but there is a Waffle House next door and a Cracker Barrel across the street.

Clean and Fresh.

We are from Jasper, AL and stayed in room 205 on 3 April 2023. The purpose behind the trip was to visit the national Civil War battlefields at Shiloh and Brice's Crossroad. The Shiloh battlefield is 18 miles north at Pittsburgh Landing, Tn and is very nice and well preserved. The Visitor's Center is currently closed for refurbishment. Brice's Crossroads is 30 miles south of Corinth, near Baldwyn, and is much smaller. 
The Quality Inn is adjacent to the Hampton Inn and is not as nice, but costs about 1/2 the amount. Our night at the Quality cost $126 with all taxes included (advertised as $103). Complimentary breakfast is included which provides biscuits and gravy, cereals, and Waffles. Bacon and eggs are not available. During our stay the pool was still closed from the winter months. There is no on-site restaurant but a Waffle House is 50 yards away. La Vera Cruz restaurant is one mile east and has complimentary tortilla chips and 30oz Coors Lights for $3.50. Dilworth's Tamales (downtown) have a dozen tamales for $5.50 and a genuine Slug Burger can be found at the Slugburger Cafe for $1.50. This local restaurant is 1/2 mile west of the Quality Inn on Hwy 72, just across Hwy 45. Many workers use the Quality Inn so expect a large number of trucks in the rear. Many of these workers rise early in the morning and are not very considerate of making noise. Overall, a good hotel and experience. Be sure to drive the mile and a half into the city center of Corinth and explore the city on foot. The free Coca-Cola Museum is amazing!   

Monday in Corinth, Mississippi

Hotel is dated. But it seemed clean. Felt kinda sketchy. Hubby couldn’t sleep from it. 
Went to breakfast at 8:45. Nothing hot. Some bread stuff (cheap) and a thing of cereal. Waffle maker labeled out of order. If you advertise breakfast until 9 you should have food available until 9.

Unsure

We arrived about 7:30 in the evening.  When we were checking in I was saying that the bill was a little higher than I thought I had reserved.  This annoyed the desk clerk and he tapped on the counter and said NO, this was the cost.  So I paid.  Going to the room (exterior door entry rooms}, we noticed some old torn up laundry carts in the grass.  The floor of the room was not very clean.  It looked OK, but our socks had gotten very dirty.  There was a dirty washcloth in the bathroom.  We did sleep well.  The beds were comfortable.  Breakfast was the bare minimum. The cost was over $100 for the night.  My Brother had a King room and the cost was $159 and a $100 deposit, which he got back the next morning after a brief inspection.  The day manager was very nice.  I would not stay here again.  I have stayed at many Quality Inns before and things were better.

Not the usual quality for a Choice Hotel

Due to last minute emergency could not make it and called to cancel reservation made shortly before.  They said they could not do anything now but would have to talk to manager in the morning. When called the next day and talked to manager he said they could not change it 48 hours before occupancy.  Do not make a reservation here unless you want to get ripped off.  They only want to take your money.  There are better motels nearby.

Management not helpful

I’ve never felt the need to leave a negative review for a hotel like I’m doing today. After a 6 hour drive, we made our way to our room, exhausted, pumped for some pool-time. We passed the pool on the way to our room. It was green with algae. I went over to make sure this was indeed algae, and maybe not the pool paint coloring. The algae rubbed off the walls with a swipe. My daughter and her friend were so disappointed, basically the primary reason we got to the hotel early was for the girls to swim. They decided to get in anyway because they were desperate, and we realized at that time that there were only two towels in the room (4 people registered), so I walked to the office to ask for more towels. I asked the front desk reception lady for a few more towels since we only had two towels for 4 people, and the girls used the only two for the pool. Here’s how the lady acknowledged my request. “You were SUPPOSED TO ASK FOR POOL TOWELS!” I apologized and said I didn’t know, and continued to ask for 4 towels. The lady stomped off to get the towels saying “great! Now you’re going to take towels away from other guests…” I was honestly thrown off by this comment. The hotel was about 10% occupied, if that. She basically threw the towels at me, and said nothing else. I just stared at her in bewilderment. I don’t even remember how I replied. I was livid when I walked out of there. Also, room was dirty. Tub was clogged. Finally, there were several groups of guys staying in the back rooms around us. There were no ladies to be found. When our 12-year old girls were swimming they started coming around the pool, and it made us uncomfortable so we left and locked ourselves in the room.  Pics of pool, etc are attached.

Stay Away

The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I reserve their upgrade king suite with two person Jacuzzi tub at almost $200 a night and they gave me their mini king suite still charge me $200 a night and now double charging my card. I recommend everybody stays away from this place the rooms smell weird they’re dirty and you don’t get what you paid for

Not clean. We had reservations and rooms still were not ready. Also a note letting us know we could leave a tip in the room. My tip is clean clean clean. Towels were stains.  And yes there was breakfast. cereal and I think they said waffle but after the way the room looked was kind of scared of that.

Would not return

I was charged a $50 deposit against potential room damage to be returned at checkout. That's the setup. At checkout, I was told the $50 hold would drop off in a few days. When I called the clerk a few days later,  I was accused of breaking the TV remote so no deposit would be returned. I arrived at 9PM and checked out at 7AM so I never touched the remote. Just a scam to make more money. Management refuses to return calls.

BEWARE OF ROOM DEPOSIT SCAM

This was my 2nd time staying in this location i less than 30 days. My in October was horrible. I had to purchase bug spray just to debug the room and also purchase cleaning supplies to clean the entire room. I was thinking there would be a change since last time. No I was completely wrong, it was worse.  The paint from the ceiling was falling off, no towels at all in the room, and the room was nasty. There was some dead bugs and some dust and peddle and stuff in the corner of the room. I was scared to put anything on the floor in the room. Not sure if they are during construction on the rooms or not cause it was all type of work noise
