Very convenient to Oregon State University. We were here for a campus visit booked a room here not too expensive not very fancy. I thought the room was very clean my son said there’s a spot on his bed. The deadbolt doesn’t work on the door. They have free Wi-Fi that’s nice. Free parking right outside your door.

Not bad

First off, this motel is way to expensive for the quality. No coffee maker, no ironing board, no blow dryer, wifi doesn't work, all listed in the amenities section on their website. My wonder is, why list it if it doesn't exist? I couldn't get the vending machine take my brand new, crisp dollar bill since it clearly states to use exact change and each soda cost exactly $1.00. I could honestly go on and on and sound super nit picky, which normally I'm not at all but the fact that this MOTEL says "budget" in the name is kind of hypocritical because it's more expensive then most of the cheaper, local hotels around, such as the econo lodge, which is around $55 a night and blows this place out of the water. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't stay here again. $80 a night, plus a $50 deposit, is just outrageous if you ask me. Especially since every single site you look up it says it's way cheaper but the owner says "that's old." Guess that's my fault for believing hotels.com, booking.com, TripAdvisor? Whatever. Long story short the Corvallis Budget Inn is not for anyone who is on a budget and it truly is very poor quality. Wish I had better things to say but after 4 days, 3 nights at this motel I've come to the conclusion that there are many other hotels around, that you could easily stay at for a way better rate and the amenities list is way longer and the quality all around is just a lot better.

Getaway

A very nice basic older motel. Good beds, sheets, towel. Carpet was really new, and felt nice and clean. Decor is old style motel...but a/c rocked, shower was very hot and clean. No free breakfast or pool, but I’d rather eat at the Broken Yolk or New Day Bakery, anyway

Great value!

Nothing fancy. Smells a little musty and the air/heat unit is from the wall and noisy. However, the beds and pillows were amazing. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were great. Everything was very clean. We used earplugs as the street noise was present. Good deal though.

Clean and comfy bed and pillows

I went to Corvallis to attend a summit on the OSU campus. Although I tried to book my hotel in time I couldn’t find any rooms available at the Hilton where I usually stay (due to Mother’s Day weekend, I guess). So I booked two nights (May 10th& 11th) at the Budget Inn, which is just a mile away from campus. The room overall seemed clean enough and the first night I had no issues. However, the second night I was in bed watching TV and decided to get up to brush my teeth. When I came back there was a tiny roach right on the side of the bed I had been laying on!! It was already late in the evening to go to the front desk and file a complaint, so I took a picture of it, killed it and then moved my stuff to the second queen sized bed. Needless to say I could barely shut my eyes just thinking about how many other roaches might be lurking in the dark. Today I got up, packed my things and left around 7:30am. At that time the front desk was still closed, so I rang the bell to drop off the room key. The lady that came out seemed very displeased to be up so early, so all I did was ask for my invoice and leave. Needless to say they have lost a customer for good.

I usually stay at the higher end hotels in town but there was an OSU football game Thursday night which coincided with my overnight business trip to Corvallis and therefore no room available at those hotels.  This is an older, small inn but well-kept on the outside.  Desk person was pleasant and attentive.  The room was a standard size room with oversize bathroom that looked like it had been recently renovated.  The room was a bit musty smelling, probably because of its age and not as clean as I usually see in a hotel (large spot on bedcover, spots on floor, chair/desk/wall had dirty spots).  Bed was comfortable and room heater good.  Fridge and micro worked fine as well.  There were a lot of persons at the inn attending the game but they weren't very rowdy so it was relatively quiet and I slept well.  There is no breakfast or exercise facility here but this is not expected considering the lower price.  There is a pizza parlor just north up 3rd street within walking distance and another one across the street.  Other eating options you will have to drive to get to since this hotel is slightly south of the main part of town. Overall, an ok place for the harried business traveler to relax and save a few bucks and I'd use it again when in a hotel pinch.

Fits the Business Traveler in a Pinch

Room was expensive for the quality and definitely did not look as good as the picture on this page. It could have been cleaner. The staff seemed a bit rude. If you're going to an OSU function on campus, bring a car or get a ride; the path from OSU to this hotel was not well lit.
