Bathroom was disgusting. Stains all over sheets, toilet did not work when we arrived, barely any toilet paper given to us (less than 1/2 a roll) and when I asked for another towel the one I was given had poop all over it. Actual poop. Extremely large gap under the door so any insect/roach/etc could crawl right in.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. We haven’t even made it to the hotel yet and already are having terrible service! A foreign man answers the phone, not even a business answering service, just a “hello? What you want???” I had to ask if it was the Royal Inn! I thought I called the wrong number. He can’t understand anything you say and gives you zero answers or help. If you cancel the stay, the “property fee” for cancelling is the same amount you paid for the stay! So the stay is $88, the fee for cancelling is $88. Even if you get the insurance to cover if you cancel, you still pay the property fee. They won’t answer the phone for Travelocity and keep hanging up on them when they’re trying to facilitate my cancellation without the fee since we have the insurance. The place is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The bathrooms weren't even cleaned there was still hair in the shower piss all over the toilets. I have allergies and  the filters for the AC were black. They hadn't even clean the room at all I'm not sure that they even change the sheets and you have a 10 a.m. check out time

Disgusting

This motel, like all others, bumped up their rates for the Daytona 500 race. Working through Hotels.com, this was the last reasonably priced hotel available. The room was dark, poorly lit and dirty. Shower and bathroom floors were dirty, so dirty we wouldn’t even use the shower. This motel had small shampoo bottles that had been refilled. The seals on the caps were broken. The carpet had a very dark pattern, so it was difficult to see the 20, very large, cockroaches that we picked up from the carpet. Once we saw one, the others became easy to spot. There was an approximate 1 inch gap at the bottom of the entry door, so the roaches had free rein to enter. The bedspread was dirty and worn. As I checked out, I had wrapped the roaches in a wash cloth and delivered them to the front desk person. She jumped back several feet when I displayed them. I suggested the cleaning person had done an extremely poor job cleaning the room. She denied any culpability for the cleanliness and said it was the cleaning persons fault. I told her I wanted a refund for the room. She said she was not the Manager, only the new “night person”. They also advertise free WiFi, but none was available.I would highly recommend anyone searching for lodging in Daytona Beach to avoid this hotel at all cost. We stayed in room 308 on February 17 - 18.

I am writing in reply to your request for my evaluation of my recent motel stay.  My summary is:

 it is an overpriced dump!! 
When I agreed to pay $399 for 3 nights, I expected some help from the staff, but I was mistaken.

1. The room was not cleaned, nor the bed made on Friday or Saturday morning, of course I checked out on Sunday, so no cleaning was expected then.
2. The curtain on the window facing the parking lot did not cover the window completely, anyone walking down the porch could see in my room.
3. On Friday morning, I had one dead cockroach, and one live one. On Saturday morning I had two dead ones, on Sunday, I had 3 dead ones, These were not cleaned up.
4. The towels were threadbare.  I had to use the same towels all 3 days.
5.  The commode tank was set to not draw enough water, the result was that I had to reach into the tank, and hold down the water control in order to get enough water in the tank to adequately flush.
6. I had expected paper cups and Kleenex.  I was sorely disappointment. There were none.

I will certainly not stay here again.

This is an overpriced dump!!

I've stayed in some dumps but this is bad even by my standards. The crack ho is outside early evening. Later the drug dealers hang out on the stairs. Meth heads during the day. Room is filthy-shower drain looks like a furball. Avoid this place unless you have a CWP and a hazmat suit.

Worse than the reviews

Well we went to Daytona spur of the moment expecting to find a decent hotel after the Spring Break rush. When we arrived no one had vacancies and we were forced to stay the this hotel for $120 a night!!! Ridiculous considering it wasn't a good location and the hotel was not clean. The towels were not clean, no toilet paper. Beds VERY uncomfortable. Never again.

Never Again

It's a spacious, yet comfortable room with a full set of amenities... far from the centre of the Deaton, the vibe is only for travelers with cars.

During our visit to Daytona Beach we stayed in this motel because of the very competitive price so we actually gave ourselves a nice dinner. Our room was very spacious, king bed, everything clean, refrigerator, microwave and good air conditioning system. More quiet!!! Recommended!!!

Good structure

We came by to see Daytona Beach and climb up the east coast of Florida. Spacious, clean, good-pressure shower, complete bathroom play. Fair WiFi. Very friendly staff. From the outside it looks careless, but it's a motel like the rest but CLEAN.
