I was extremely skeptical when my friend arranged for us to get a room at this motel, but it wasn't too bad.  It is very basic, but that's to be expected.  The good things--there were no smells in the room, the sheets were clean, the AC and TV worked fine, the shower was good, the bathroom was big, the location is good.
The negatives were--there was a bug in the bathroom, a loud party took place late at night and no one stopped it, there is no chair in the room and no window.
The owner was business-like but very helpful.  
This is a good place if you're just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower.  

Basic but okay

I stayed here over the weekend 2/12 to 2/14.  They called me twice during the day to make sure I was coming and told them I would check in by 7 pm.  I showed up at 6:45 and they were just getting the room ready.  I stayed here 2 years ago and it wasn't really the greatest but this time I would have been better on a park bench.  Should be a hotel rented by the hour if you know what I mean.  NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN.  And I advise everyone else the same.

Booked the room that shows three double beds for three nights. Perfect room for three guys. 129.00 a night plus tax. Two days later we get a call from Patel. He has to charge us 200.00 more in total because its bike week. We agreed reluctantly. Get there monday at 6 pm. No room he said it wasn't available. He offers us a room with two beds. By now we are all pissed. Patel had a solution for us. He moved the two beds against each wall then put his son's bed in the middle. It did workout ok. He only charged us the original price. Btw..he charges 11.00 per day resort fee plus a 20.00 room key deposit.  We didn't pay either of those fees. We believe the three bed room you see is where Patel his wife and son live. There are chairs outside each room which gave people a place to hang. Patel actually hung with us for a while. He doesn't mean to be nasty he has a hard time with English and the American ways of doing business. Overall we had a good time with him. We would go back.

Bike week

the worst place you can stay, we booked for two nights, when we entered the room the smell was disgusting as if there was a dead animal,plus they never told us that we couldn't have visitors next day family member came to see us the lady yell at us that they couldnt have their car in the hotel and that they needed to take their car somewhere else,plus their kid disrespected us,anyways we moved the car  sense we didn't want no problem when we came back from the beach we were in the pool the guy started screaming at us that our children could not be in the pool we went to talk to him he close the window in are face we told him to refund are money so we could go somewhere else he didnt he call the cops on us for no reason we left the room in order and he didnt return our deposit back ....just letting you guys know youll going to lose your money in this hotel their rude he charge us 284 for two nights and we only stayed 1 sense he kick us out for no reason ,the room was super small,if you drive 3 hours to have a good family vacation letting you know right now dont booked at this hotel you'll gonna LOSE your money think twice before you book in here.

Worst place you can stayed

I booked two rooms for one night through hotels.com which came to roughly $135 for both rooms. Upon my arrival I was charged another hundred and $20 for deposit, as well as another $10 for something else another $5 for something else and another $15 for something else. So their prices they had posted up line we're not the correct prices they were charging people. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and was unwilling to help and very argumentative the whole time. So the next day comes and we go to check out, that night I had started my monthly and you know sometimes it gets a little messy. When they came in to inspect the room they told me they were going to keep the deposit because I had to buy them not only new sheet set for a king size bed but towels and washcloths as well. The people at the front desk again were very argumentative and would not allow us to contact the owner or give us the number and any way shape or form to try to defuse a situation. So I had to get on the phone with hotels.com and let them know not only wear their prices online not correct but to complain about why they were keeping my deposit. Hotels.com was extremely upset and actually refunded the money themselves. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. All they are going to do is ruin your vacation or your stay while you are here. I would look elsewhere.

Dont stay here

The guy was not pleasant upon check in. Got into the room and based off the other reviews, immidiately che ked the sheets for hairs and the bed for bugs. No bugs, no hairs, but found some interesting thing people left under the mattress. And the sheets were stained. Didnt DARE put my bare feet on the cruddy carpet. TV didnt work. Hairs on the toilet. Luckily again, based on the previous reviews, brought my own towels, sheets, pillow cases.  Took a shower (with my flip flops on) and the dang shower rod would not stay on the wall. I'll pay the extra $50 and stay somewhere I can be comfortable and not feel like I'm walking on someone else's DNA.

DO NOT STAY HERE.... I've stayed in some BAD places but this was the worse.. This was worse than staying underneath a bridge, like I used to do when I was younger on a bike trip. It was Nasty especially the BED, it was dangerous from electrical line being on baseboard heater with NO cover ..Check out pictures and that is just a few..

NASTY

The most horrible experience I ever had. Don't stay here this people even ask me if I am Mexican, also my bed wasn't done and she said to do my bed then. Besides all that the room was horrible and the owner was extremely rude, then he parked a car in front of my room. A couple of times questions and yeld at me very loud. Better busines bureau wants me to make a complain. We don't need to tolerate this kind of business like one guy said, you should be paid to stay in this dump. I was charge 290 for a week I was robbed.


Nightmare

It's cheap for the very good location that it has facing the ocean, even though it's very old, it's good for saving money and being close to the city center and the beach.

 An economic motel

It's an expensive motel, for the service and quality it has, the service they provide is a slightly high price, the bathtub is covered, the carpets retain the smell of cigarette smoke and because it smells.
