It has been horrible,avoid this place...you are safer if you sleep in your car,the motel is in terrible conditions,the location is unsafe and the people around the parking made our staying really uncomfortable...please follow my advice and pay a little more for a better place!

Avoid this motel!!!

We were looking for a room last minute and chose this one.  We were given a ground floor non smoking room but when we got to the room, it absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke to the point of making me feel sick (and I used to smoke!).  We asked to change rooms and the manager agreed and cleaned another room on the first floor for us.  He clearly cleaned it thoroughly as it smelt strongly of bleach but at least it didn't smell of cigarette smoke.  There are long term people staying here who are homeless/drug users (lots of cannabis smoke smell coming from other rooms) which the government pay to stay there.  We found the people fairly intimidating (and we have travelled quite a lot).  The room wasn't very clean although the manager had clearly made an effort to clean it well for us, which we appreciated.  Felt sorry for the manager who had been trying to make the place better but was having a hard time doing it.  The back of the motel looked onto a very dirty street with abandoned sofas and rubbish.  Saying that, we slept very well and there was not much noise (except for the busy Highway 101 but that's obvious if staying at a motel on it!) throughout the night until a child started crying for a while at about 5am but that could happen anywhere.  We didn't feel safe here and made sure to keep all our valuables close to us when we went to bed!  Would not recommend.  As an additional tip, do not stay at Budget Inn as we saw this place (and it backed onto the dirty street behind our motel) which looked extremely rough and unsafe - don't stay there, sleep in your car at the Safeway if necessary.

Avoid

This place used to be of quality, with clean rooms and quiet and an owner who cared about giving his guests value for their money. Now it's run-down with seedy people staying there on a weekly basis who are loud all night long, and with the practically-nonexistent sound proofing in the walls, you don't get a wink of sleep. Yeah, it's one of the cheapest motels in Eureka, but you get what you pay for.

Dirty and Noisy

This place is in a totally dilapidated state. We booked it through booking.com while on a drive and couldn't find much info regarding the motel. When we reached there the whole motel was empty. Only one room was booked and that was ours. The sign outside motel read "we are not responsible for any damage to your personal belongings, thefts or injury to guests." We left the place right away. 
Avoid this place.
