A disgusting place, filthy and very unsafe.  We needed a place to sleep, all other places were booked, after check-in we went to the room.  The room was filthy, paint falling off the ceiling and the bathroom was dirty.  After half hour someone tried breaking into the room.  This happened twice.  We immediately left and went to the front desk who told us that he mistakenly gave the room that he just gave us to someone else.  Their key worked and the security lock didn't work.  Imagine waking up to someone breaking into your room.  We stood a maximum of 45 minutes and the place still charged us for the night, can you imagine, being charged and fearing for your life as you sleep.  Only at a Motel 6 this would happen.

Keep Driving - Never Stay Here

When we pulled in we thought we were  staying at a Motel 6.  A search had told us it was Motel 6 and we almost missed it because of the giant Thunderbird sign. It was a small Motel 6 sign identifying it. We paid the $50 rate for one night and were directed to our room. It was at night so it was hard to see the whole facility. When we drove up to our room around the back, we noticed that many of the windows in the units were boarded up along with our unit. Once inside the room it got very interesting. It was not clean, there were cigarette burns on the bedspreads and there was a large hole in the wall looking through to the next unit.  We pulled the small fridge in front of the hole to have privacy.  Bathtub had horrible stains.  We left as soon as possible in the morning so have no idea if they even had a breakfast available.

In the write-ups for the Motel 6 that we had checked, it was billed as new! It looked like it had been bombed a couple of years ago and left to disintegrate.

We stayed because it was late at night and didn't want to look for another place but if it was offered for free we would never stay there again!

Please condemn!

Not a bad place to stay, privacy protected, safe area, and trusted owner and employees, thank you for accepting a copy of my ID, an trauting me" I will see you again soon. Price is good AARP Dicount. There is a pool, the I side of the rooms are clean, good air conditioning and heat, close to pizza but, Verizon and T-mobile service is great there. Average price $50-70 it varies by the aeason, and other discounts that you may have. They are a good place for someone that needs protection, like LQ Hotels. 

Vacation away from florida

We have stayed in dumps around the world - this is a record...We were returning from Florida to Washington DC this week (first leg 600 miles of driving) and we booked Motel 6 in Florence - website says "renovated rooms" - talk about fake advertising:
- Motel 6 actually did not exist - it is actually Thunderbird Motel - no sign, no name , nothing to tell you where is Lucas street Motel 6
- Our room was a dump on the ground floor - garbage on the floor, cigaret burns everywhere
- You could see adjoining rooms tub from our bathroom 
We were so tired that we actually took the room and got the he....l out of there by 7AM
How can this place even survive??

The room wasn't completely cleaned but it would have been a 1 even if it were clean. The bath tub should have been trashed about 15 years ago. When I requested a refund the owner or manager arrived and starting yelling at the front desk clerk in another language. Although they offered me another room, I refused to stay where people acted like that.
