First of all why they even allow to check in that early?????? After one night there i saw in the morning that low bed is empty, i was gonna move there but front desk person said that i CANT DO THAT!!!!!!! They are worst!! They let othe russian to get my low bed and kicked me out

Worse service ever!!! Didnt let me move to an empty low bed because someone else checked in at 10 am next morning!!!!!

It’s ok if your ok with sharing a bathroom and kitchen. Some rooms even share bedroom with up to 5 people. People were out smoking and drinking in the common area. Empty Liquor bottles on the ground. Run down for the price. Looked like a trap house.

I can't really understand the negative reviews about the staff.  They all showed behavior towards me that was ultra-cool.  There are some sweet and intelligent ladies that work in the front desk office, and my experience was that they went out of their way to help me.  They showed me much-appreciated kindness.  
   The traveller's dorm where I stayed was laid out pretty well and has a large living room with which to lounge out in and watch TV.  The dorm bed room wasn't bad either.  I got to meet some typical backpackers from other countries, and this was exactly what I wanted.  So the backpacker's spirit does live on here; it's just that you need to be sure that you are put into the traveller's dorm and not in the locals' one.
   They even did a karaoke night while I was there and this was a big bonus for me.  The neighborhood is a nice one.  If you are female, be advised that you may come into contact with a more working-man kind of crowd if you go out in the courtyard to socialize.
   For me, this place was just what I needed and I am planning to come back here when I return to the USA.  Fort Lauderdale was where I grew up and this hostel is the place where I choose to make my comeback into my old neighborhood.

I spent a couple of nights in the hostel and it wasn't what we expected. primarily the people who serve at the reception are not at all friendly, if you ask them something is like you're talking to the wall and we want to help but not give it to them willingly. rescatable from the hostel is the location, very good to move anywhere. fortunately it was only a couple of nights, but I certainly wouldn't return to that hostel.

Good location, poor attention.

The wrost place I have ever been. The place is very dirty,the recepcionist was stoned and unfriendly and the rooms were completely dirty and not cleaned for ages.
When we arrived for the check in the rooms where not made and dirty but they promised to clean and make the beds. When we arrived at night, the first room the bed were not made and everything dirty and for the second room the key was not working, so we were not able to enter the room. We tried to look for help but there were nobody. As we had no sheets and blanket and not able to enter in one room, we finally decided to spent the night in the car.
The next day, we had to leave early to the airport but I found the receptionist and commented her what happened and her reaction was just unfriendly saying that's none of her business. 
Unfortunately they already charged my credit card for the 2 rooms, which we never got! This place is a nightmare, should be forbidden. Please stay away from this hostal!

Nightmare hostal- don't go there!

We were warned we were coming late and we were ordered to go get the key in a small trunk, except that there was no key to our name in the trunk, and we had to wake up the receptionist who had to fire a woman and put us in overcrowded beds, and she slept on the couch with the TV on all night long.

It's a shame our room wasn't on the booking list.

My stay was made awesome because of Manger Chris and Wendy. How ever the room I was in had the most annoying person, that I have ever en counted. his name is Fred, a street evangelist that consistently force religion down your throat. his insecurities and lies and cult like behavior forced me to move on to a better place. This man is a a bad omen, his behavior is erratically disturbing and annoying. If you come to this hostel make sure you do not stay in room 3 unless you want to have a bible study 24/7. otherwise it is the best location to all the yachting agencies and close to the shops. I will miss Wendy and her son Chris, always willing to go that extra mile.  The place is more of a middle house and lots of people stay as it is a cheaper alternative to hotels in the area.

Street Evangilist Fred

Upon our arrival at the complex were we greeted by a group of individual drink and partying to loud music in the court yard. There was an overwhelming Odor, we believe was marijuana. A dirty young man pointed us to a small group of people and pointed out the desk clerk. The office was dirty and smelled disgusting.  We were escorted to our supposed private room with shared bath room to be shown a room with two women sitting on a chair and dirty couch and was told this was our room. It was nasty. Lamp did not have a light bulb in it and the celling light was burned out. The room had two twin bunk bed, not a queen.  The room was small and smelled as if homeless people had been living in it.  Once I started to question why the rooms did not match any of the photographs we were unshed outside and told if we did not like it, it was a matter for my attorney.  Bizarre statement from the clerk. She said she was not the owner and not responsible for the photo's. I told her, it doesn't even come close to the pictures, the room was not what I reserved.  She told me I could cancel but would not get a refund.  This is not a establishment booking.com wants to represent.  It was worst than a third would country.

Nothing Like the Photo's

We spent one night (and fortunately) arriving from Fort Lauderdale airport. The inn is unhealthy for me, far too expensive for the services. The smell in the room was nauseous and the bathroom as much as the room was very, very dirty. I don't know how long it hadn't been done. I was two fingers away from leaving the inn without sleeping.

It was a horrible night.

The hostel itself is not very cozy, it is attended by young people who seem to have little interest in the business.
