Great location and easy to access major routes to see surrounding areas. Very clean units with plenty of room. Very comfortable furnishings and plenty of cookware to use kitchen. Resort staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. 

Fun GA Vacation

Two couples stayed in a 2 bedroom villa.  There was plenty of space for all of us.  The plates, cups, bowls, glasses and silverware were sufficient.  But, there was no salt, pepper or other condiments.  They provided a paper towel roll, spare trash bags, dishwashing soap and laundry soap.  It was a little dated, but very clean.

Great location

The staff was so nice, helpful, friendly and helped with our needs. The unit was very large and nice.  Beds slept awesome.  We saw deer out our window.  The ground on the way up to our unit was beautiful and the old looking covered bridge at the entrance was a wonderful touch.  The place was easy to find.  Near a grocery store and dollar store.

Upon arrival and checking in, we were required to pay a $50 no refundable fee, stated for parking and utilities. Easy checkin though, go to our unit, very steep road, parking in units allow for 2 vehicles, however the road steepness will require some cautious parking for two vehicles. The units are all stand alone 2 main level bedrooms 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins in loft, 2 small bathrooms on main level, sofa sleeper, small kitchen, single sink, washer/ dryer stacked (dryer half broken, not drying well). Flat panel TVs with Local digital channels, access on TVs for streaming(take your Roku, change input o HDMI port) 6 person dinette table , 1 loveseat, 1 sofa, 1 sitting chair, lighting is bad in the bedrooms and living room, so prepare. Internet was pretty good
But hey, we knew it was a cabin in the mountains so we accepted what we had, explored small towns close by Jasper, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Cummins(Costco is here)Ira supermarket is in Marble Hill and most other small towns. Blue Ridge has the most shopping, Jasper, seafood, wineries are most everywhere along the country roads, breweries too, Talking Rock was good. We will go back after remodeling



Management is trying to fix issues

This is a hidden gem in Big Canoe, Georgia. Not only are the people friendly but during October, this is a great place to come and visit. The Summer is really great and the community loves visitors. I believe that I caught this place in time when they were really enjoying their holidays. 

Petit Crest Villas is A Must Visit Site

Big Canoe is a beautiful place to stay.  It is a mixture of rental and private properties.  It has plenty of options to choose from; from the pools to the lakes to the golf course, hiking, etc.  You are in the mountains, but only an hour from the Atlanta area.  The units are a nice size for a couple or small family.  They are starting to show their age a little, but the resort is in the beginning stages of updating them, and already have an example to show of a more modern look.  Our living room TV was going bad; we reported it to Jodi at the check in office and she had the maintenance man come right over.  He quickly replaced it with a brand new smart TV.  Both Jodi and Andre' were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.  We look forward to returning soon.

Like a treehouse

No shampoo no coffee had to load the dishwasher and unload the dishwasher remove all lining from beds and remove all the dirty towels and put them in the basket but everything by the washing machine pretty much all they had to do is do the wash and take the garbage out

No satellite just cable TV ,pool charge daily, hot tub $20 a day

Older but wonderful place.  Very good beds. Park at your door. These are actually houses. Great staff, always ready to help. Beautiful resort away from the city. Wooded and scenic.  I hope to return soon.

Great Place!

Stayed at a cabin here for my niece's wedding.  They have a beautiful wedding area inside Big Canoe! The staff was pleasant and the place is spacious.  If you're not afraid of driving up a mountain (lol) you should stay.  It's tucked up in the mountain, so if you want to get anywhere, it'll take a bit, but the place is pretty.

Serene and beautiful

Lovely area to visit, although in November many restaurants had limited hours and limited staff.  Plenty to do if you want to hike, less to do if you want other activities  It is 1.5 hours from Atlanta, and there is plenty to do there.  Must have a car to function.   The maintenance of the units was pretty good, but some things could have been better. Staff was very nice.  Less helpful after hours.  Suspect it is hard to get employees.
