We love the accomodations - the bed was comfortable and the ADA acessible bathroom/tub were apppreciated.  The complimentary breakfast was excellent.  The staff was very helpful and friendly.  We also like the location.   

Three-night stay

The hotel is located in a good location. Parking was good. The room was quiet and clean. The hotel was convenient for all our purposes. You will get your typical Hilton service. Served all our needs for the one night traveling farther west.

Good Location & clean

I like Hampton Inn as a chain because they are consistent and clean. This was a good example of why I really like Hampton. It isn't fancy but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only complaint was it was hard to find the lobby from the street. We actually went in the hotel next door. But that was minor.

Clean and afforded hotel.

Imagine uncorking a bottle so coveted, it's not even officially released yet—the 2022 Syrah, a recent crowning jewel of Colorado's wine scene, adorned with the Governor's Cup and vetted by a panel that included Master Sommeliers and Masters of Wine. I managed to snag two bottles for myself, but in a cruel twist of fate, one shattered in a hotel room accident where the door slammed and knocked the wine out of my wife’s hand. It also put a gash on my wife's hand.  These monsters did not even apologize and it was their effing door that assaulted my wife.  They did not offer to replace the wine.  What horrible human beings. A cautionary tale: choose your lodging as carefully as you choose your wine. Don't make my mistake; don't stay at the Hampton Inn in Grand Junction if your wine is precious cargo. We may sue them just because they were not proactive or sorrowful.

Big Let down

They charge $11 for parking; you don't find that out until you check in. Not much, yet another fee on top of all the others. There's only one small elevator to service all the floors.  The rooms are adequate, though not spacious, and you look out your window right into the window of a neighboring hotel.  Unless you're staying here to enjoy the historic district, save money and go somewhere else less expensive, with free parking and space between your building and the next one. 

Close Quarters and Additional Fees

This property has all of the amenities one could want. Free breakfast and covered parking are perfect. It is centrally located in Downtown Grand Junction and walking distance from many restaurants and shops that provide a great escape from the troubles of everyday life. The staff is lovely and very helpful. They are always willing to help anyone.

Beautiful Property

The Main St Hampton Inn is great Hotel to stay and explore downtown Grand Junction. However be aware the area is overrun and crowded with tourist.
Restaurants are impossible without well advanced reservations, parking is an issue. My feel of the place was 10 lbs of stuff shoved into a 5 lb bag.Good luck.

Good downtown location if that’s what you want

Had to pay a parking fee to park in lot. Parking garage stalls are very small.
Breakfast was very good. Staffwas friendly. Bring some slippers to wear, carpet very soiled. Otherwise it was a good stay.

This is an old and small Hampton Inn. The only one that I have ever been to that you can not unload your belongings at the front door. You have to park on the street and come in the front door check in and then pull around back and come in thru the “backdoor” entrance. We arrived early evening and this just put us off. They share parking with another hotel bc their garage  isn’t large enough. The entrance was small dark and sketchy. One elevator used by guest and cleaning staff?? Location is good for downtown area but it’s not a huge city so not sure why they charge 11.00 to park. The rooms are also small and not that clean. No extra towels in the rooms to freshen up for the evening you have to ask for them. 2 people 2 sets  that’s all there was. Breakfast items very limited but the lady caring for the area was wonderful and did her best to access people. I would not stay here again. There are better choice’s in the area check them out first

Location Good

We came out for the Palisade peach festival and were so pleasantly surprised by the Hampton Inn. Great location on Main Street- could easily walk to coffee, pizza or Enstroms Chocolate. It was about 15 minutes to Palisade- an easy drive. The room beat our expectations - clean, new, with nice decor.  We frequent 4 and 5 star resorts, and felt that the staff here rivaled the staff Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek, which we had just stayed at, with how helpful and friendly they were.
