I stayed one night here and enjoyed a very restful stay in this well-maintained property that is both a motel and RV Park.  Gridley was a nice alternative to staying in Oroville, especially for those uncomfortable with the many homeless that frequent that area of town.  By contrast, Gridley had a very nice, small town atmosphere.  Rooms are spacious enough but not fancy and access to eateries and shopping are all within walking distance.

Comfortable, affordable stay

Would be ok for a few nights but dont recommend any longer. I stayed for 5 months. Expensive for what you get compared to other rv parks. Maintenance and lawn care was non existent. Multiple long terms with years of belongings spread out on their sites with tarps covering their trailers. Really no privacy between trailers besides the un maintenanced trees making a mess all over your camper and small yard space that you are expected to rake. Drive a few minutes anywhere else if  you can.

I am really puzzled by the people not happy with this place . You most likely paid less than $80 for a room! It’s not going to be fancy ....if you want fancy go pay $200+ in Yuba City.   Yes it’s cheap but it’s decent.  Seems clean and no weird smells . Ide recommend!

Good size pull through. Amenities were clean and showers are spacious. Not a quiet park because of proximity to railway lines.  Water, power and sewer hookups well placed.  Has a small pool and spa.
Office staff were helpful.

Gridley Inn on Dec.27, room 109, had me itching for a week with bed bugs. The manager didn't respond to any call or emails. I'll never risk it again! I had stayed here in past years with no problems while going to the Gray Lodge Bird Refuge. It has always been adequate in the past, but this was the first and last time for a bad case of bed bugs that I had to deal with at home also.

I ended up staying in the RV Park part of this place, and it was OK, actually nice and quiet for a road-side facility full of big 5th wheels and RV's. However, the sites do not even include a picnic table, let alone a fire ring, and the place is lit up like a shopping mall so be sure to have black out curtains or don't stay here without a sleeping mask. 

The pool and spa area look pretty good, but the weren't open in the winter. The bathroom and shower facility that is for the RV Park guests is "ok". It is large, the hot water is really nice and hot with good pressure, but the drains back up badly and the whole building smells of mildew. 

When I checked in for my camping spot, I asked about upgrading to a room for my first night because I needed to be up at 5am the next day.  I was OK with the price for a room, and the clerk updated my reservation (which took quite a while and many under the breath sighs and mumbles, such an inconvenience for this person), and THEN the clerk told me the price they had quoted was for a smoking room and it would be extra for a non smoking room.  At that point I said no, I recognize a fast one when I hear it, and stayed with my campsite reservation for my entire stay. I am guessing the "non smoking" rooms are smoke smell filled anyway from the other reviews I read. 

So, if you are a heavy drinker who likes to smoke in bed, stay in the motel. But for the price, you could stay down the road at a much nicer motel, which is what I should have booked in the first place.

5 day stay. Pay up front and no refund policy. I figured that is because if you book multiple nights you want to leave after one. Internet websites wouldn't load and timed out because the internet service is so slow. 30 - 60 seconds to load a page when successful. I gave up. TV if you like watching reality shows and infomercials. No maid service the first day, one day we came in and there was a lump in the middle of my "made" bed. The maid had left the pillow in the middle of the bed and just smoothed up the covers. I could go on but what's the point. We paid $80 a night for a $40 a night room. If it wasn't for my mother wanting to be with local family while we were burying her husband and my father (and the no refund policy) we would have stayed in Yuba City. Never again.
