We stayed here in the main Inn in a suite on the top floor, which had a small view of the river, for a romantic get away. The room was nicely appointed and nicely decorated. The bed was really broken in with body impressions, felt even through the thick bed topper. The seven shower head shower was outstanding. I think depending on the room you get, it depends on if all your jets work in the tub or shower, based on other reviews I read. The jets in the tub did not work very well. The inn is located just steps from the train statiand within walking distance to a few wineries and places to eat. Your stay includes a breakfast. But, it was the tiniest breakfast I have ever seen in my life and would not have fed a three year old. The female servers were rushed and overworked and we're not very friendly. You literally got one egg, one slice bacon, 3 bites of French toast,  and a 3 bites yogurt, "parfait."  We had to go get donuts after each breakfast because we were hungry. For the price I paid for the room, It was insulting. I wanted to rate this review a 3 star, but I gave it a four because of the shower and the location. My husband did hear the trains at night though.

The communication while making the initial arrangements was wonderful.  Donna was quick with responses, walked me thru each of the various options, took time to answer all my questions. For the month prior to arrival, we received several e-mails confirming our stay, providing detailed check-in procedures and other info we would need during our stay.  Check in was smooth and welcoming and our cottage on the hillside was even more beautiful than depicted on-line.  The cottage was charming, historic, well-appointed with everything we needed, clean and the view was spectacular; overlooking the whole downtown and Hermannof winery.  Our stay at the Champagne cottage exceeded our expectation and we would definitely recommend it!  I love that town!

Everything was Spot on from comfort to Luxury. From the Bathroom with Robes to the Comfortable Bed. The special packages and Friendly Staff. The Breakfast was always enjoyable. Would stay here again and again just for room. Shower and heated flooring 

Anniversary

We had a beautiful room that was central to everything. The breakfast was served in a wonderful dining room with a huge stone fireplace. I am looking forward to returning to experience some of the other suites. Love this place!! 

Wonderful quick get a way!

Without question, this is the best Bed and Breakfast in Hermann. The suites are beautiful, made with quality materials and workmanship. Sure, they are a bit prices but you really do get what you pay for. Wonderful breakfast includes.

A real gem in Hermann.

Let me just start by saying, I want to move in permanently.  This is an incredible Bed and Breakfast.  I love the location.  Right on the river.  Close to the Amtrak Station.  I will keep that in mind for a get away and riding the train.  Every person who works the front desk is a wonderful advertisement for the inn.  They love their job and their place.  The fact that they have an elevator to take you to the suites on the third floor is a wonderful surprise.  We were in the Peerless Suite.  WOW, WOW, WOW.  We loved it.  Two gas fire places, one to the side of the bed and one at the two person jacuzzi.  They both kept each room nice and toasty and the ambiance was amazing.  The 4 poster king bed was very comfortable.  
Now, let’s talk about the shower.  Can we say 7 adjustable shower heads that will rain over your entire body was amazing.  And a Koehler to boot.  I want it at home.  It was amazing.  Did I mention it was amazing?  Yes, it was!!!  And the shower area was big enough for a family of 8. But for a couple it was perfect.  
The breakfast was 5 star.  It started with coffee and juice AND a chief’s (Dakota’s) choice pumpkin latte fresh baked bread.  I’ll just say it right here,  Brittney then brought us a loaf to take with us.  It was a great treat the next morning to refresh the memory of our incredible evening.   
Breakfast then proceeded with a choice of a special waffle or an incredible egg dish served in a small cast iron skillet. It was an wonderful conclusion to our time at the Inn.  
I will definitely make this a place to return too.  

The Best B&B In Hermonoff!!!

This was our 5th stay at this Inn. For whatever reason, the service keeps getting worse. In particular, the female desk clerk with glasses, was the predominant issue. Last year (2021) she handed us the wrong key card. We had to go back and get the correct one. Fast forward to this past weekend, she waited on us again. When we arrived there was no one to greet us. Several minutes later, the same lady came from the kitchen chewing food saying she had to get a quick bite in?  The main complaint on this visit was no cleaning service. We were never told at check in that we had to request it?  Anyway, we called her Saturday afternoon 2 pm and she said she would try to get someone to clean our room or she herself would come up after 5 to fulfill our request.  It never happened. We saw her Sunday morning at breakfast. We had to initiate our disappointment. She was dismissive. She said she couldn’t get away to help us?  I told her a phone call would’ve been nice. As a result, we had garbage overflowing the cans and one clean towel.  She asked if she could make things right?  She offered us a bottle of wine. We declined. We told her an apology was enough. We didn’t get the feeling she was sincere.  For the price this establishment charges, you would think they would be able to provide better service or hire more competent employees.  Other than that, the Champaign Room was pleasant and the breakfast was great.

Beautiful house, Eagles Nest. Beautiful decks with gorgeous views of hills and river!!
The rooms were great with very comfortable beds. Very impressive property and decent breakfast.
However, the house was full of horse flies and lady bugs, both alive and dead. Horrible!!
Called and let them know and they said thanks, been working on it. Think they could have cleaned them up before we got checked in if they knew there was a problem.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in Kennedy Suite. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom had heated floors and the shower was the most incredible shower we have ever used. Everyone was friendly from checkin to checkout. Breakfast was very nice and the dining area had exquisite charm. 
We will definitely return soon!

We love this special place!

We had a lovely day at the winery's with our pup (80lbs) and Teresa's cabin was perfect for the three of us. We very much enjoyed our time and the view.  My only complaint was the grass was pretty tall and would have been a little more accommodating if it had been mowed since we had our dog with us we had to walk to go potty. We will stay again when planning a trip to Hermann.  Check-in was easy and the host was very friendly.  Check-out was easy too.
