Under 35? Do NOT come here! I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a casino. My brother (age 27) and I (age 30) were interrogated at the door after showing our license, as if we had fake ID’s. Within 30 minutes we were ID’d several more times. The tipping point was when it happened 4 additional times at a single black jack table when the dealers shuffled. I understand they want to keep underage individuals out, but they can do that without harassing younger people at their casino. Seriously felt like agism. Not EVER coming back.

Hotel should be closed down rooms were NO WAY  what advertising on line, nor the same price. Just nasty. We bood room with hot tub, they do not have any rooms after remodel with one. Got xharged twice for room. PoopCasino made up for it, slots were hot. Several food selections. Is only reason got 3 stars.
Would not stay here again. Nor recommend it.

Bull doze down

This is most low scale hotel in the state of MS. The front desk agent was wearing a beanie that said “Thug Life” on it and then the housekeepers play loud music and yelling at each other outside in the hallway while they are cleaning. Definitely felt for my safety here. I love their games selection though in the casino.

Unprofessional Front Desk Staff at Hotel

the Buffet Chicken and Spare ribs were cold hard and tasteless, they had to be left overs from Friday night.. Not worth the Money . What has happened to the Old Fitz .The Hotel and casino were in the best shape ever. No Coffee machine in the room not even a Toilet paper holder or Clock
They cut off our promo Comp's 3 days earlier. With out even

The person at the front desk and the casino host where hot very friendly and spoke down to me..
never saw a small Craps table like they now have. hardly any table games and thier stuck way in the back.. But they had a lots of Slot machines.

If you a table player 'Craps" stay away  and find a new place to play. 
We were going to stay 2 nights for yhe $th of july but NO Fare Works

What happened to the GOOD OLD FITZ ??

Was happy to discover this is an "Adults Only" Resort. Many of the rooms are being remodeled. Staff was friendly, prompt and professional. We stayed in one of the new rooms and it was clean and fresh. There is evidence that these folks are really trying hard for your business, We felt like they "wanted" us there. We will be back!

Much Improved

I played had a good time and I was told I was not wanted there and was told to leave. The employees are great but the management is horrible. The worst casino ever but hey what do u expect when it is run by bullies!!!!!

Worst casino ever for gaming or employment!!!

We received a HALF of a roll of toilet paper in total. Not any extras. A Half! There were ugly water stains on the ceiling in the shower. The shower head wouldn't stay up in position to take a proper shower. The whole hotel, including the rooms and hallways, smell like marijuana. At ALL times. We didn't even get fitted sheets. It was a flat sheet tucked in under the mattress. The floor corner lining in the bathroom was covering the holes and whatnot on the bottom of the wall. Then, it was filled with silicone that was 2"wide. All of this was our room. My mom got a room and reserved a balcony room. She did not get it. When I brought it up to the lady at the desk, she argued with me and told me I was wrong and called me a liar. My family and I will NEVER return to this establishment. EVER.

Our experience May 2023

went with husband for a weekend get away, specifically requested the turent room as per the web site. it came with nice accommodations and a hot tub. We get there the lady at the front desk gives us room key and we go up. THIS room was NOT the room we requested. Go back down stairs ask lady, She said we do no have that room anymore we have been updating and that room does not exist. she said we have a room on 9th floor with a hot tub. we look at it. at this point most all room at other casino are booked so we took the 9th floor room. 
 the lady at desk never looked at what we had paid for never offered a discount or anything. The room she sent us to was a $200 room at best,
we get to room and look at it , The front tv does not work, no stopper for the jacuzzi/ hot tub. It needs a good cleaning. The maids did no take the time to even put the garbage bags in the trash cans. the couch was a pull out bed that was uncomfortable. Lamps did not work because of blown light bulbs. Maids had mopped the entry with a dirty mop, it was sticky and our shoes squeaked.
I smelled like someone had been using a VAP in there, of course it was a no smoking room. 
The Maintenace guy came up to try and fit a stopper. he did apologize , was the only one that did. 
Overall I would not recommend nor will me and my husband go back to stay,
To make things worse our card was charged 2 times for the room. Now we have that head ache to deal with and of course NO one answers the phone at the hotel.
Don't waste y9ur money and time stay away for this hotel and the web site. the web site is not up to date. it is false advertising.

Worst hotel stay ever

I am surprised this place gets any good reviews.  I think the only ones that stay now have comps to pay for their room.  I have been going for 15 years and it is the worse I have ever seen it.  Poor service, poor buffet food, smells.   Last time I went in June, I couldn't get a milkshake because the new Baskin Robbins didn't have any milk.  Really? You couldn't go to a local store for milk?  The staff looked at you like Ugh, duh, ahh ok.   I have found the new Mint in Ky and won't be going back.

New Updates, poor customer service.

I am a Mississippian so I hate to leave a review that looks bad on a Mississippi business esp in an area that needs all the economic resources it can get. However this isn't a good place to stay if you want a nice trip. Just being honest. It smells. The workers(except the guy at check in and one of the ladies at the register at the buffet) are so unbothered and lack basic customer service skills I didn't even wanna spend my money at the burger place but I was hungry and the buffet looked so unkept and very non appetizing I had no other option. The buffet: I was so disappointed because who doesn't love a good ass casino buffet and I've never been here so I was excited to really eat good. Stations were dirty. The ends of serving utensils laying in food was so unhygienic. The salad bar was sparce and looked neglected. Whole place is just depressing and I can't believe ppl regularly come here. I can't think of any reason I'd ever come back here.
