Booked 2 Rooms here, gateway to Glacier National Park. Really nice Motel, Lady on Reception very friendly and Helpful. Very Large Rooms, Average T.V. Coffee, Fridge Microwave and Bath/Shower. We hadn't expected Breakfast but cereal, pastries and Yoghurt were available, Including the only place in 2 weeks on our road trip that offered Gluten Free Cereal, WOW. Hungry Horse is a good place to stay, lots of good gift shops and a Supermarket plus Fuel Station. Loved staying here.

Great stay in Hungry Horse

A nice little motel that served all our needs.  Room was clean, easily accessible.  Beds were comfortable (the photo of this place is not accurate as they have new comforters that are really nice and cozy).  Our unit had a small kitchenette with a 4 cup coffee pot so we brought our own coffee and enjoyed a cup of good coffee every morning.  Our unit also had a small fridge, lots of towels and satellite tv.  Tammy was very nice at the front desk.  Pricing for this place was very reasonable.  I would definitely stay there again.

No Frills Clean Place to Stay

Don't drive by thinking this is some old run down motel.
It is an absolute gem. Lucinda the owner/manager has put care and wonderful touches to each room. We stopped to reserve on our way to Glacier. She said it was an honor system. She would trust we would be back. Loved it. We came back and had the best night of our trip.

Fabulous

This motel is conveniently located near West Glacier. We stayed for four nights. Our room was nicely decorated and it was quiet and clean. Our only complaint was that the mattress was hard as a rock and the pillows were too. We also used the washer and dryer with laundry soap bought in the office.

Convenient Location

Great experience, rooms clean, large and have a nice vibe. I stayed in a suite with a mini kitchen. Huge shower, beds very comfortable. Owner friendly and extremely helpful with information. A must stay!

Great place!

I had a nicely appointed, spacious room.  The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.  WiFi worked well.  The hostess was pleasant and helpful.  Restaurants, groceries, and a mini-mart were a short walk away.  The west entrance to Glacier National Park is a few miles down the road.  The motel was nice and quiet.  I would stay here again.

Great Base to Explore From

We stayed at the Mini Golden while visiting Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. Great location for both. The motel is a very clean and well maintained. It has a cool retro feel and is well preserved. It was a great alternative from the standard/bland roadside chain brands. Hungry Horse has gas and a variety of dining and food options. Great stay and will come back if in the area again

Great Loction for visiting Glacier National Park

This hotel was VERY clean. Beds were also very comfortable. My son accidentally left his airpods in the room and we called the owner. She found them and mailed them back at her own cost. Honest people. She refused payment, but I'll still reimburse her for her time and effort!

Great location just a few miles from the West Entrance of Glacier. Good condition but some rooms are a little 'tired,' Appears that some have had carpet replaced with wood flooring and that changed everything. Our room was good sized and clean. Comfortable beds and the sink is outside the bathroom which helps with multiple people in the room. The area is quiet--almost too quiet as everything closed pretty early--even in the summer! Lucinda was kind and very helpful at the front desk.

Great location

We stayed at the Mini Goldens for 7 nights. The room was newly updated, nice hardwood floors with a rug between the 2 queen beds. Had a flat screen TV with Dish satellite and a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The room was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable, mattresses seemed new also.

Very convenient to Glacier, I timed it and we went from the hotel parking lot, through the entrance to Glacier and we were at the Apgar Visitor Center in 15 min.

The grocery store across the street was convenient. we even got some of their fried chicken the one night when we did not feel like going out to dinner. Lots of places to eat within a few miles but some did close early, one stopped serving dinner at 7 and only had ice cream. I think it was the Huckleberry Patch.

There is no maid service unless you stay at least 3 nights and have to put a door hanger on the door that you want your room made up. Not a big deal, we needed towels once and just went to the office and met I believe her name was Lucinda at the laundry and she got us more towels. We did use the maid service once and they room was made up and cleaned nice with more new towels.

Also, they did update the wifi so it works pretty good now, we had no problems with it during the whole 7 days, worked pretty well. My granddaughter was able to steam Tiktok, YouTube and download music with it

Most of the people we saw staying here were older so even though the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors from time to time it was never an issue. Most people were respectful and quiet.

Overall, a nice stay, if we ever get to Glacier again this will be our first choice!
