This is a wonderful B&B!   What a peaceful, relaxing place in the hills of Kentucky. The view is gorgeous!  Deborah is an amazing host, cook and baker!  You will be delighted with a hearty breakfast that will not disappoint and you will not go hungry.  Her attention to detail is outstanding and we were so very comfortable in her home.  It’s cleaner than any hotel I’ve stayed in. If you’re new to the area she will tell you anything you need to know and recommend places to see, shop and dine.  This place is highly recommended for a nice relaxing getaway weekend in the country!!!!!  Don’t forget to order some homemade bread and cinnamon rolls to take home with you too!!!

Amazing girls weekend!

We chose this as the place to stay on the way home from our Tennessee/Kentucky exploration trip. We both agreed we wish we had planned on staying at this lovely place for a few more days. We definitely could have spent more time sitting on the comfortable porch looking at the gorgeous view and being pampered by Deborah. Our room was large, bright and airy.  The decor was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We had a huge bathroom and a gigantic closet, plenty of room to store all your things so they do not clutter up the room. Our room and the common rooms were spotlessly clean.  But the best part of the stay was our hostess. She was extremely gracious and made sure that we had everything we needed. And the food!  She made a desert for us the night we arrived and the breakfast the next morning was wonderful, including some of the best homemade cinnamon rolls we’ve ever tasted.  I cannot recommend this place highly enough. 

Excellent place to stay!

Deborah is a fantastic hostess! She has just the right balance of being friendly but not intrusive and welcoming while giving us our own space. She recommended Tater Knob pottery for our visit and it was a highlight of our stay! She is also a highly skilled chef. I have high standards for breakfast and hers were better than most I have had in restaurants with plenty of food to go around! Thank you Deborah for making our first stay in Kentucky memorable!

Wonderful hosts, delicious food!

My husband and I and two adult sons had a wonderful time at this B&B.  Debbie was a wealth of information about the area, the rooms were comfortable and immaculate and we had fun hiking in the morning on the property and in nearby Pinnacles.  Debbie is a baker and it was a treat to have her cinnamon biscuits in the morning.  

Great weekend with family

What a find! We stayed at Halcomb's Knob for one night, but it is absolutely the kind of place to which I would return for a longer stay. The accommodations were immaculate, with an enormous bedroom, with vaulted ceilings and access to a wrap around porch and a view of the rolling pastures outside. The proprietor Deborah is a fantastic chef who prepared magnificent souffles, homemade cinnamon buns, and fresh fruit from the nearby orchards. Absolutely stunning place all around and definitely worth making the trip for!
