Budget price but not entirely a budget experience.  We were frustrated with Internet and TV. Both eventually worked but not as well as we would have liked.

Other than that, the room was inexpensive, clean, mostly quiet, and comfortable. If you are on a budget do not be afraid to stay here.

Budget price but room was a step up from some

Stayed in Kingsville before going to King Ranch. The start was promising, but fell short of expectations. We received a call about our expected arrival time. We told them and when we arrived, were surprised that our room was 85 degrees and the AC was off. The room had a very musty smell and the lampshade was dirty or moldy.
The room was comfortable after many hours to cool. It was excellent at keeping out the light considering the door opened to the outside. The water pressure was excellent but scalding hot- watch out!
We did not partake of the grab and go breakfast. 
The motel is relatively easy to get to King Ranch and other places in Kingsville.

Preparing to visit King Ranch

I stay in a Choice hotel 25+ nights a month. Because I drive a truck I have to stay where there is truck parking. Mostly Quality Inns and Econo lodges. This is by far the best Econo Lodge I have ever stayed in and better than most Qualities. It's clean, spotless, rooms are larger than normal, bathroom is good size. Everything is is great repair and very clean. Staff is wonderful. Large TVs. I will stay here anytime I am in the area. My only suggestion is to have a channel lineup available.

Best Budget Hotel I have ever stayed in

We needed a couple of nights near Corpus Christi over a holiday weekend and this was perfect.  Awesome deal without breaking the bank.  The room was exceptional, even better than some much higher priced chains.  Surprising and affordable.  Yes, covid-19 restrictions made them stop having the hot breakfast, so keep that in mind.

Stayed here for one night on travel down to Brownsville, Very Nice and Staff was super on check in and during check out. 

Room was spacious and bed was nice, very clean and quiet.

Great stay all around

Great Stop Over

What a great deal for only $49. Our queen room was very clean & comfy. Had all the amenities including fridge, microwave,  coffee maker & free wifi. The pool is beautiful and there is a complimentary breakfast. Very conveniently located off the highway. Will definitely return!

Remodelled & Comfortable

This was a relatively inexpensive place to stay. The room I had was quiet. Although the room was smaller than some, it was big enough for a couple of people. I'm on an extended road trip, and the sheets and towels were the softest ones I've had so far.

Good place to stay

An older motel in the middle of building another wing of rooms. 
If you like to sleep late, be sure to ask for a room at the front of the motel.
Our room was clean and and meet our needs for a night's rest. Others in our group said that their rooms had an old motel smell.
The free breakfast had luke warm biscuits and gravy but no eggs and bacon.
So I walked across the road and got egg & bacon tacos to finish filling us up.
They were pretty good and made a couple with homemade corn tortillas as a special request.

Clean inexpensive overnight place to stay.

I evacuated here for Hurricane Harvey. I've seen the pictures and read the previous reviews but my experience was different. From the moment I arrived, the staff was great. The place was fully booked and the front desk was getting call after call from people seeking vacancy. Everyone at the front desk handled it well and seemed to treat the guests kindly. Our room was clean and tidy. Regarding the hole you see in some sheets in a previous review, keep in mind this partially a "smoking" hotel. The service workers who change the sheets might miss an ash hole every once in a while. This is also a pet friendly hotel! We saw many dogs during our stay and there was plenty of grass around where you could walk them to. There was no evidence of there being a dog in our room either. As mentioned, the room was very clean and tidy. One minor comment we had was that we had a connecting door to the room next to us and we think it might have been a room where you are allowed to smoke because there was an odor by that door next to the sink. Other than that, we would stay there again. Thank you to all of the staff that assisted us during Hurricane Harvey! The four ladies, three who worked 08/25 in the afternoon/night, one that worked 08/26 afternoon, and the gentleman who helped me out with booking/unhooking my second night.
