I just wanted a cheap motel for the night so I can attend an event nearby the next day. I found this motel for about 63 dollars a night on Orbitz. When I arrived on a Friday night, I went to the office where a friendly agent honored my Orbitz reservation and rate and gave me a room at 107. I parked near the room and when I opened the door, I was greeted with a clean and spacious room with two queen beds. There was a small TV with DirecTV channels. A microwave and fridge were available. The bed was surprisingly clean and comfortable that I slept quite well. The AC/heater was wall mounted and provided nice warmth during the cold weather. The room was quite quiet as well. The bathroom was nothing fancy and a bit cramped, but it was clean and had a decent shower. Water pressure was low, but I had no issues getting hot water. Soap and shampoo wall mounted. The toilet was clean. The sink was inside the room and spacious. There was a coffee maker with ok coffee. 

The hotel was not much frills. I didn't recall seeing a pool nor a fitness area. The lobby was very small and open at certain hours. When I checked out, I just placed my cards near the window and left. The lobby was closed when I left around 9ish. Breakfast is not offered, but there is a Dunkin donuts next door.

For only 63 dollars per night, I honestly had low expectations for this motel. However, I was provided a clean and comfortable room with friendly service. The motel felt safe as I was told there were cameras monitoring the area. While I prefer higher end hotels, this will be my go-to motel if I am just staying overnight in Lake City, especially with the low rates. 

Surprisingly clean and comfortable for a low frills motel

Myself and my husband are on vacation and wanted to stop somewhere close to Ichetuckee Springs so we could arrive early in the morning. We checked in around 10:30pm, there was no one on reception so we rung and the gent quickly arrived. The rooms were dated, but nonetheless spacious and clean. There was a coffee machine and fridge/freezer. A few of the locals must call this motel home as they were sat on the front chatting. Dunkin Donuts is just next door for breakfast. We went to check out at 8:30am and again there was no one at reception. We tried call but there was no answer so we let our keys on the doormat with a note and left. If you want a cheap motel this is a good place to stay.

Spacious room

I have stayed here a few times in the past and have left good reviews, however, I cannot do so this time. 

First, the appearance of the outside was not clean and there was rubbish laying around.  There was a family living in one of the back units.  

Our room, the toilet wobbled, the whole room needed repainting.  There was a hole in the wall where the door had hot it over time and made a hole.  Bathroom needed repainted bad.

The room had a funky smell.

The pool was drained of water.

Due to "Covid" the lobby was closed this no breakfast.

Used to be good

Affordable price, right off I-75. Good location, easy to find. We needed a place to stay near Santa Fe River to go kayaking and this motel was perfect. Clean room, helpful staff. Great location. There are multiple security cameras throughout the property which is nice.

Our stay was very comfortable,Room was clean,Quiet,easy wifi hookup, parking right next to our room is always a plus for me!!The front desk and cleaning staff was very friendly and prompt. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable

We had reservations for this quiet little hotel on our trip to Disney World. When we arrived I realized that we needed to change our room details. The management was so gracious and helped and even reduced the rate. The hotel is clean and quiet and has nice facilities. It's not a large place but the attention you receive makes up for any difference. It's about 30 minutes from Gainesville and about 20 miles from Lake City on I-75. It's only 2 1/2 hours or so to Disney. Great bargain with comfort and cleanness.

Hidden gem close to Disney World

I stayed at Palms Garden Inn in Lake City Florida, and i highly recomend you stay here, if your  looking for a great nights sleep and a clean room at an affordable price,  Front desk personel was very polite at check in,  my room was very clean and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. im rating them at A+ and 100 stars, because i was that impressed with it all.

My husband and I had been driving south all day and were exhausted.  We remembered Palms Garden Inn from over three years ago where we stayed during our move to Florida...we rented the room and then dragged our weary bodies to fall into bed for another long drive the next day.  When we opened the door to the room, what a surprise!!  Freshly painted walls, a KING SIZE bed!! Beautiful and functional bathroom--great Air Conditioning...and QUIET!!!  Reasonably priced, the room could not have been nicer to meet our need!  Thank you!!

Completely surprised!!

Well, the room was clean upon check in, but follow-up service for the few weeks we stayed was non-existent.  Complained to staff about services and nothing changed. Complained at the front desk as well - still no change. 
The "laundry facilities" available refer to old appliances circa 1980's - which includes two washers and 1 dryer - all located outside.
As for the internet service that's available, it's limited... and if there is any kind of wind blowing at all, the cable goes out completely....
And yes there is a pool on the grounds, a beautiful One that seems like it would be very refreshing. ... however, you can't use it... very unfortunate in a state as hot and humid as Florida.
One of the only good points is that the area is pretty quiet at night so you can get some rest... as long as you can do so without ever having your sheets changed or clean towels to use when you take a shower...

Not what was expected...

Traveling alone, safety is always my first concern. These concerns were well respected by the manager, Ralph. I greatly appreciated & respect his commitment to the hospitality industry. The room was extremely clean with wonderful tile floors.  A great bed & ample fluffy pillows. My only complaint would be the lack of a security bolt on the room door.
