Do NOT stay there!  Dirty, smelly, did I say filthy? What a dump and he wanted an additional $100.00 so I wouldn't walk out with the TV. The pictures are all fabricated or taken before these people took it over and ran it into the ground. If I wasn't so tired I would have left- ended up sleeping with one eye open for bugs.

Filthy and Horrific

Don't bother with this motel!!  First, there was a sign on the door "back in 15 min". I got tired of waiting, so I called the number on another sign and did not get an answer. I was trying the number again, when the front desk decided to unlock the door. He claimed he was there all the time I was in my car waiting. If he was, why didn't he open the door for the man who tried to door after I arrived? He claimed he saw me in my car "on the phone ". I didn't get on my phone until I walked to the door to verify whether it was locked or not. He only let me when after I told him I had a reservation. NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED!

Second, he  pointed to a sign that said there is a $100 DEPOSIT (not the courtesy hold that is common) with cash, debit or credit payments. NO, NO, NO. When I told him I wanted to cancel my reservation, he told me I had to call the "number". 

This was to be my second stay at this motel and I did not have any if this kind of trouble with the first stay. On that stay,  my "non smoking " room REEKED OF CIGARETTE SMOKE.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY MOTEL I HAVE STAY AT IN THE DECADES I HAVE BEEN TRAVELING.  

DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO STAY HERE!

Wanted to charge $100 deposit in addition to room rate without even asking my method of payment.

Best long stay hotel I've ever been too. Manager was very friendly and I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming through cruces. Long term or short. I was in the kitchette room for 6 months and not once was there any issues with any of my appliances or stove. 5 stars for sure. Anyone who says otherwise must stay at the Ritz regularly cause that's the only way I think this hotels service could be beat.

Amazing stay

The man at the desk, who I believe to be the manager, really saved the day for us. 

After a 12 hour drive with too many delays we arrived well past midnight, but the manager was still available to open up the door and service. We booked and prepaid through Priceline but Priceline's 3rd party moneyhandler Agoda Services, which goes thru Thailand, was refusing to release the prepaid funds which meant the room couldn't be paid to the Inn. 

After considering all the available options (and the Priceline phone saying it'd be 5 hours wait time), even though the proprietor hadn't received the funds, he comped us the room on faith and said he would handle the payment from Priceline on his end.

I could only experience this kind of compassion from someone who believed in customer service at the highest Quality and I hope Dharmendra Bhanderi, General Manager, who I believe I was talking to, gets the highest award and accolade and praise for doing everything he could to retain the customer, and succeeding! A+++++++++

He went above and beyond to say the day!

Admittedly, this hotel may be past its prime; however, there is something sweet about the place. I came for two days and extended my stay to six days. The room was quite comfortable, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and the price was right. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Quiet, Comfortable, and Affordable

First of all we bought a suite, pictures on hotels.com showed two beds and a niche with couches, but the room had no couches, and despite the name (Rodeway inn and SUITES) they told me they have no suites. The description of the hotel on the booking site hotels.com is mostly wrong: It says free breakfast but there's no breakfast. The ice-buckets in the rooms would make one think there's an ice machine somewhere, but there is not. The info in my booking said it would cost $5 per pet, but I got charged $40 for two pets. Woke up early to construction going on (new roof being installed). They also added tax (after the fact) and said it was because hotels.com charged the wrong tax. This hotel is shady AF!

Look forward to arbitrarily added fees with little or no explanation.

Awaime service, the cabins vere too small and depressive. It could be better withe more pictures, more pleasant paint and better lighting! The entirtsinment and music could be more diverse for adults . Looking forward to do it again!

Discovery cruce

I had booked a room at ABVI via Priceline.  When I arrived, I greeted the person working the desk and told him I had a reservation, giving him my last name.  He sharply responded, "You may not have a reservation."  I told him I booked via Priceline and he said, "I'm telling you, you may not have a reservation.  It happens all the time."  He took my ID and began searching his computer.  He sharply told me to step away from the counter  because he felt I was violating his space.  After a few minutes, he said he could not find my reservation and to have a seat in the lobby.  I retrieved my iphone from my motorcycle and confirmed my reservation.  

After helping two additional people that had walked in behind me, he said he found the reservation, but would need to call Priceline and that would take two hours.  It was just poor customer service and he was extremely rude.  I travel quite often on my motorcycle and he was by far the worse person I have encountered at a hotel.

The room was in fair condition.  The second bed, which my brother slept in, was missing a pillow cover, which we had to go to the lobby and ask the same person for a pillow case.  He didn't seem too happy about the request, but brought it to the room in about 20 minutes.

I will never stay here again and would recommend travelers to pay an extra few dollars to stay in one of the many nearby hotels.

Rude Desk personnel

Owner is very very rude! Also racist!! Did not want to give us breakfast. Refused clean towels! Any questions we had he was so rude, not safe at all!! Rooms were filthy, owner was very racist!! Don’t stay!!

Very bad business

It was very outdated and looked kind of scary. The beds were not the greatest. But I've been to worse hotels. Didn't like they werent open until 7:30am because we wanted to be on the road by 6. I wouldn't recommend this place with kids.
