The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are right in the center of everything but just on the edge enough that we didn't find the noise a problem at all. The room was clean and large (so large it had a lot of wasted space - ex. no desk or area to work.) The separate room with the soaking tub was nice after walking around all day! You also have some really nice views from certain rooms and we enjoyed the small little standing balcony area to take in the views. The micro and fridge were a nice touch so we could warm up some food and spend more time exploring! Just a few things to note: reception assistance in person is only there 11a-7p (of course there is an emergency #) but if you check-in after 7, make sure you let them know ahead of time to get the specific directions. We had no issues receiving or following those and the parking lot is VERY small and can be hard to find at first as it looks like it's belonging to another building until you pull in and see the signs. The wifi didn't even work for basic browsing so we had to use hot spots for that, as well as work calls (and the PW / network listed in the room aren't accessible - it says 5g but they don't give you the PW for that so we had to use trial and error to get the PW/network correct.) We asked about this at reception and were simply told "use a different network" so if you need any sort of wifi, make sure you have a back-up plan. We also asked about leaving the car after check-out and were quickly told "only until 12pm" so it's hard for us to speak to the actual hospitality as while we enjoyed our stay, we didn't find it particularly welcoming once we arrived and any questions we had seemed to get an abrupt reply. We still enjoyed our stay but just some things to note if they are important to you.

great location

We had a fantastic visit.  The hotel was nice at it was right near all the shops and restaurants.  The amenities were also very good.  

My only complaint  was music that played in the restaurant (probably Yodelin) made a low thumping sound well into the late evening.  

On our last day I called the front desk about something else and spoke with Scott.  I did mention the noise to him.  He assured me he would check into it.   Based on the tone of our conversation (and the feeling of being rushed off the phone) I was not sure of his commitment to that. 

This by no means really affected our stay.  We would stay there again!

Great visit to Christmas Town

Lovely, relaxing, quiet. comfortable long weekend. Historic hotel with upgrades. The coffee was fabu! The bed was perfect. Giant heart-shaped jacuzzi. Private balcony with a view of creek and mountains. 
We could have stayed a month except, well WORK!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Bavarian Ritz in Leavenworth, WA.  You just can't beat the location - close to everything.  This hotel is older but very quaint and spacious.  We had the  Jacuzzi Queen Deluxe room - enjoyed having a separate living room with TV,  electric fireplace, and window.  The new owner (Rob Ahrens) is wonderful - he's helpful with directions, restaurants, and things to do.  And he has a lot of plans to make the hotel even better - hope to be able to go back to see all the work when he's finished.  One very special amenity at the Bavarian Ritz is the resident Golden Retriever  - just fell in love with him!  Thanks for a great stay - hope to return some day.

The Place to Stay - Bavarian Ritz in Leavenworth, WA

I never leave reviews but this place has been amazing. In a time when customer service has been lacking, I really felt like they went above and beyond to make it a family friendly stay for sure.  In the first few minutes we got here, we realized we forgot our sleds and the front desk worker gave us a loaner to use.  Public bathrooms were clean so we could change before heading into town (we arrived early before our room was ready). Later we did their “elfie” selfie scavenger hunt and we won a candycane at the end. They had a spot to write letters to Santa. Free hot chocolate. Game room with fooseball, shuffle board and lots of board games. The hot tub (and pool for those brave enough) was a nice treat at the end of a cold day. We didn’t realize our room would have a dvd player so we didn’t bring any, but the front desk had lots of movies to choose from to borrow. Lots of little details that helped make it more than just a place to sleep-but made it part of the whole trip experience. 

Great for families

Great place that is pet friendly and the perfect location! Check in was fast and easy! It was easy to park and access the best parts of town. I wish there weren’t so many rules about using the hot tubs.

Room 203 is HORRIBLE.  Do not waste your money. We paid $400 for a night in a total disaster room. Sign in the bathroom saying not to use soap or shampoo in the bathtub or be fined $100. Changed room,okay

Horrible

Quaint hotel in Bavarian-style city. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and cozy room. Comfy bed and pillows. Electric fireplace added bonus.  Close walk to everything on and off Front Street. Would stay there again.

We loved this little hotel for our weekend away.
The staff was great with accommodating and the room was huge! Bed was comfy and jet tubs were awesome.
Close to everything we never drove anywhere and stayed in the downtown area. We will be staying there when we go back for sure.

Loved it!

The location of the hotel was great.  We parked the car and never moved it because we were able to walk to all the Oktoberfest activities.  The room was clean and comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly.
