Where to start?  The owners are mean and surly.  They seem to think they are doing you a favor by renting their bug infested, rancid motel room to you.  The rooms smell of formaldehyde, which probably keeps some of the bugs away.   For amenities, they give you a postage stamp size chip of bath soap, and a teeny packet of shampoo.  The towels and linen are old and worn.

The breakfast they advertised is two stale bins of cereal.  My guess is there are maggots in every bowl.  I’ve stayed in third world hotels that are cleaner and friendlier.  

It is very cheap.

Dirty and horrible place

Other than the low low price. This place is a dump. Cockroaches running around as well as big black bugs coming out of the bathtub drain after starting the water. There is nothing good to say about this place. The breakfast consists of a couple muffins and coffee. Rooms smell. Once I got home I left all my items in the garage and went through and washed everything. This place should be condemned.

No way, never again.

My husband and I stayed there Wed. and the place was dirty, The sheets were so old you could see through them. There were no paper cups to drink out of the beds looked like they had been slept on , the furniture was worse than any I've seen at Goodwill and the shower curtain just barely  touched the top of the tub.  The ceiling had flaked paint where it had leaked.  The door was hard to open with the key given and I could hardly wait to get out of there.  We will never stay at ABVI again.  On the bed was only a spread and no blanket to cover with.

Never again

We have stayed at various motels/hotels/inns/suites from  $40 to $300 a night.  And of course, lower rate rooms lack some of the pluses a higher quality establishment offers.  Therefore when we made our reservation we were completely aware and ok with a no whistles and bells room.  After all, we were in town to go to Six Flags (which is a pocket drainer), and just wanted a spacious room that was cheap for sleeping.
Well, it was around 11pm when we finally made it in town and checked into our room.  We were exhausted, put our things down and sat on the bed.  Immediately I noticed the filthy floor...  It was obvious that it had been a while since it was vacuumed...
The beds were hard and lumpy.  The sheets were dingy and stained.  The blankets were thin and covered with lint balls.  I grabbed a pillow from the other bed and thought I saw something small and brown from the corner of my eye zip to the back of the bed.  I dismissed it, and thought it was nothing.
Turned on the TV... It was small, old, with a bad picture... but no big deal.  While watching TV, I noticed something brown crawling up the wall by the TV....  Oh yes my friends - it was a roach.   The roach was killed... and by this time I was feeling a bit uncomfortable.   Five minutes later, one of the kids spots something moving on the blanket - a spider.   Spider is killed, and now I'm very irritable, sitting on the edge of one of the beds looking around for more critters.  I look at the headboard of the other bed and realize that the brown thing I thought I saw earlier was indeed a roach.  Two roaches and a spider in 45 minutes.   We had enough - checked out and got a refund.  
I would rather sleep in my car then stay there again.

I did not feel safe during my stay, the door had diffculty shutting completely.  The bathroom door had holes knocked in it.  The faucet handle fell off.  Ceiling was discolored from water leak.  It was a bad experience and I stay at hotels frequently.
