This hotel is in a small town just outside of Jefferson City. There are few local attractions but it is clean and traffic is not a problem. There are a few Mom an Pop Cafe's and a Bar and Grill in town so you will not go with out a meal. The hotel serves a light breakfast of pre-cooked foods that can be heated in a toaster oven, cereal, and fresh pastries and fruit. The pool was small but very clean. The room was clean and well set up with two queen beds, a desk, a mini Fridge and a coffee maker.

A place to rest outside of the city.

Reserved room for one night stay. Front desk staff person was friendly and efficient at check-in and check-out. Doors are noisy, so sleeping in is not really an option. Room okay, bathroom average size. Shower was okay, but high small shower head so not a lot of spray. Shower curtain was a little dirty with some mold starting. Parking easy and plenty of space available. Breakfast room was spacious, choices kind of limited, but about what you'd expect at this price point. Coffee, juice, milk, 2 cereals, oatmeal packets and hot cocoa packets available. Bread box had muffins, pre made biscuits (with a note to warm in microwave) bread, small pastry, plain bagels and waffles you could put in toaster. There was a crock pot with white gravy and sausage patties that were being warmed in microwave by attendant. Hard boiled eggs, oranges and apples. Beds were average. TV is kind of smallish, but had a variety of channels. Room had mini fridge, microwave and a coffee make (1 cup at a time). Wi-Fi worked very well. There was a coin laundry available in the hotel as well. Room entrances are on inside. 2 floors and an elevator is available. Pool is outdoor so that was not open. Has fitness room but I did not look at it.

Average - about what i expected for price

We found ourselves in the middle of nowhere and it was getting late, so we were happy to find a place to stay. In retrospect, maybe we should have driven farther and taken our chances. The hotel needs an update and a good cleaning. Pretty bare bones, but adequate for a night's stay. The breakfast was poor-really poor, as a matter of fact. They are doing away with the franchise now so maybe there will be improvements. It's hard to keep a good hotel going in a small town...but maybe they can do it with effort and elbow grease. The staff was friendly. 

It was "just okay".

This is the only hotel in the area so not much choice. One bar of soap and very cheap shampoo. Large room with nice couch. I thought it was quieter than than someone other reviewers and there was party going on when I was there. Breakfast is mediocre. The tv in the fitness room did not work but the 3 machines did ,no weights.

Clean no frills.

As there aren't a lot of choices for accommodations in this area, it isn't bad. A little worn at the edges, some leak evidence on the second floor, but the management and staff make a sincere effort at keeping things together. Surprisingly hefty barbecue grills out back, and a small but serviceable outdoor pool. Very basic on the amenities - one small bottle of shampoo/ conditioner, tiny bar of soap, so BYO if you're fussy about that sort of thing. Morning breakfast was a little sad; sausage patties and gravy, 2 kinds of cereal, mini baked goods. All in all, a decent place to stay, but don't expect much beyond that. (Hint: ask for a room facing the back. It's quieter and faces a nice view of the area fields and woods.)
