While I’m no prude, taking a shower through frosted glass with the rest of the family watching is just not right. 

At this location, the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is not solid, but is frosted glass. As the shower runs along this wall, the silhouette of the person taking the shower resonates to those in the other room. The picture tells the story. 

Fortunately, my wife and I were the only ones staying. Imagine as a parent, staying with your teenaged children. While one could argue that those in the room should simply look away, that’s like turning away from the remnants of major accident when you drive by. It’s just to obvious.

 In looking at past reviews, no one seemed to be bothered by this. I guess if watching other family members shower floats your boat, then have at it. As for my wife and I, we will stay elsewhere!! You 

Showering in a Fishbowl

We had seen this hotel rated on another travel website with a rating of 8.2/10. So this is why we looked at it and ultimately booked through the Red Roof Inn website. It is no where near that nice. We paid $159 for a king room that was just basically a bed. The whole facility was not very clean. We had hairs in the shower and someone else’s dirty socks in the nook to hang your clothes. The breakfast area was closed with chairs blocking the entrance. There wasn’t even coffee in the morning. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. The ice machine was hidden in the laundry area on the main floor. We’ve stayed at other Red Roof Inns with no issues but this one just doesn’t measure up.

Disappointing

Will never stay here again by choice, I’ve been here for 4 days through work and due to other issues I can’t change hotels but ohh how I wish I could. Our room is covered in ants like something I’ve never seen before there on the walls, in the shower, on the Ceiling, even on the toilet.  They also don’t except CLC with a pet for more than two days even though they will let you book it. Hope you don’t have an issues either because it’s impossible to speak to a manager no one will give me a number and when I ask when one will be here I get told in the morning I go see in the morning and they say come back in the afternoon it’s been a whole cycle. And lastly for a “pet friendly” hotel there is about a 3 by 3 spot of grass that’s it.

Covered in ants

We accidentally left a wallet containing money and cards and a pair of AirPods when we checked out.  We had not noticed that we had forgotten these items!  The items were secured and we were contacted within a hour of us leaving!  When we returned , our items were secured in the back office and everything was in the wallet!  The staff here is awesome!  Sheena, the front desk associate is extremely helpful and super nice!

Good, honest staff

This hotel is dirty, tired, worn, and gross. The carpets are disgusting, front desk staff didn’t know where the stairs were, our tv wouldn’t work, and the lobby was gross and gave off transient hotel vibes!!  

Red Roof Inn as a company doesn’t stand behind their chain and has dismal customer service.  This stay was money wasted.  Don’t trust the good reviews.

Stopover during return to college

Do you like dirty carpets? Moldy showers? Clogged drains? Flat pillows? Stained sheets sprinkled with pubic hair? Then this is the place for you.  I wish I was joking but Im not. Dont be fooled by the ratings this place is an absolute dump. We made the mistake of checking in late at night and checked out as soon as the sun came up and went right across the street to a clean Marriott. The only good thing about this hotel was the front staff. Some of the nicest people ever.

Dirty Red

Wonderful and clean little hotel in Locust Grove, Georgia! My husband and I stayed here on a trip from Florida to Indiana for a night to get some sleep. I would especially like to mention the front desk staff Sheena was wonderful!! After driving most of the night, we were extremely tired and had already stopped at other hotels that were sold out for the night or that wasn't pet friendly. Upon walking in, Sheena greeted me with a smile and told me she had pet friendly rooms available. I was so relieved!! She was very nice and professional! Great job Sheena! Because of you, we would definitely stay here again in the future!

Nice staff and clean rooms!

The room I stayed in must have been updated, because it was very new and modern. It was clean and comfortable, as well as conveniently located close to Interstate 75. It's set back from the road and the entrance is a little hard to find. Just follow the signs for McDonald's drive through and then keep going.

Clean and comfortable

We chose this hotel based on the reviews and I have no idea what reviewer‘s are talking about. It’s only ten years old but very worn already. The carpets in the common areas were disgusting.  My daughter and I drove 10 hours from Ohio and stopped here on the way to Florida. The only thing we wanted after driving for 10 hours was a workout room and when we arrived at the hotel it was closed by management. So then we decided to exercise outdoors and return to the hotel for a quiet evening in air-conditioning to watch TV. However the TV in our room didn’t work. They offered to switch rooms but at this point it was 9 o’clock and I said no.  You could hear everything from the rooms adjacent to ours. The front desk staff were very nice but overall the stay was awful and I would never return to another red roof inn.

Very disappointed

I love this location red roof inn of locust grove Georgia it’s always clean comfortable so professional, I’ve been coming to this location for over ten years 4/5 times a month and once I’ve stayed here for nine months. The worker’s treats everyone just like family and I’ll love to give a special thanks to the front desk operators Amy and Tab I highly recommend that you ask for there assistance I mean it doesn’t get any better very professional quick with there work always with a smile on their faces and shows everybody with so much respect they really makes you feel right at home. So if you’re looking for the best hotels in Georgia you’ll have to come an visit Locust Grove red roof Inn I promise you and give you my word everything and everyone is the best of everything your looking for in a very comfortable clean family atmosphere down south hospitality everyone will most definitely love! Future reference enjoy your stay you won’t regret it!
