They are so gross they don't respect you like are you serious! overall bad hotel don't consider staying! Went and stayed there 2 days not nowing how dirty it was and overall no satisfactory coming there ugly room nothing clean.

It is very truly disgusting!

I had the unfortunate experience of having to stay at this motel recently during the Memorial Day weekend 2014.  My best friend and I decided at the last minute to take a road-trip from Texas to a La to Coushatta Casino.  There were no rooms available at other hotels due to the holiday, so our only option was staying at Oakwood Inn.  We knew when we got on the property there would be lots of issues--but we were tired and needed somewhere to sleep.  On the way to the room, the stairs were filled with bird poop and the windows/curtains were just dreadful-looking.  Upon entering our room the pit of our stomachs sank because just looking around the room was disheartening.  You could immediately tell the mattresses were so old and worn because the bed linen was not smooth.  The  toilet seat was very stained as if the seat had not been changed since 1980  (good thing we had our Lysol spray and Clorox wipes with us)!! The dust, mildew, etc. was everywhere.  The only good thing was that the hot water and a/c worked and the toilet flushed.  We contemplated our other options--sleep in the car, go to the emergency room and fake illness just to get a gurney or somehow go to jail for the night for a cleaner stay!).   We decided to stay.  After having a few drinks at the Casino--it made it bearable--we both made sure not to get under the covers-because the sheets were  subpar as was the rest of the room.....we basically slept in our clothes and didn't let skin touch the bedding at all.   I took all the clothes from my suitcase and placed on the bed as a barrier.
Oh yea, the other positive thing is that the car was not broken in to so overall it's a pretty safe place but environmentally unsanitary and I'm sure unhealthy.

This hotel is terrible! The owners are terrible! I was told there was only 1 room available and I had been driving for hours all I wanted to do was sleep, I paid for my room went to grab something to eat came back and as soon as I walked in the room it was absolutely disgusting! It had not been cleaned the toilet had not been flushed since the last person used it( I have no idea how long but it was disgusting!) I got out went to the office and told them they told me their was nothing they could do about it and would not give me my money back! They are filthy people that do not clean the rooms! Please do not stay here!

Worse experiencein my life... .  We came in town  checked in for two days was told by MANAGEMENT checkout  would be SUNDAY at 11 ..saturday morning MANAGMENT called and said they needed  payment my  RECEIPT showed payment  for 2 days the POLICE came out and  had to  straighten things out...IF management  tells you  a certain time to checkout and changes his word  overnight thats not the type of person I would ever do business with I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in such a low life environment....(he treated me like a criminal )

Me and my friend rented this room on Oct. 27, 2012.  The 1st room they gave us wasn't cleaned, didn't even have sheets on the bed. The 2nd room we inspected was filthy. There was mildew on the ceiling above the shower, cobwebs on every wall, the box that held the kleenex not only was empty but filthy, the micro wave was also dirty. I was laying in bed and a small roach crawled on my hand.  we had gone to a wedding that day and were very tired otherwise we would have switched hotels.  The manager or someone needs to get on housekeeping about cleaning their rooms more thoroughly.  I will never stay at this Inn ever again.
