This  cozy motel is so cute. Love the cabin look in side. Muriel gave us room 2 which had a new mattress. It was the best bed in 2 weeks .Thank you Muriel
My husband loved getting his own coffee. Cute shower. Everything is so clean Great location. Love the houses that are around and only about a block away is Stearns Beach and pier and lighthouse. It was a great stay.

Cozy  clean Motel

Spent three nights at the end of a U.P. vacation. Came in on the SS Badger. Quaint and charming motel. Retro in a sense and very clean and comfortable. These motels and motor lodges are making a come back and a great experience. Only 7 units and very quiet and peace full. The description is spot on. Muriel and her son are doing a great job with the motel and are very responsive to any needs. They live next door and responded within minutes of our request for an iron and ice. 5-10 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the restaurants, shopping, etc. The breakwater, beach and parks are amazing. The motel is located in a neighborhood with amazing homes with wood lots. We enjoyed walking the streets admiring the homes.  15 minute drive to the State Park with dunes and endless beaches which are very well maintained. Thanks for a fun unique lodging experience. Would highly recommend and will stay again if we get back to Ludington. 

End of Vacation Stay

We loved our stay at the charming Blue Spruce Inn. Check-in was a breeze and the room was spotless. The care that the owners have for this property is easily recognized. Best of all it’s close to the lake, shops and the S.S. Badger! Looking forward to when we can return.

A charming inn located in the heart of Ludington.

Friendly staff, clean rooms that are beautifully decorated. Very close walk to the beach. Assigned parking in front of the room. Very mid century, gorgeous knotty pine wood paneling in the rooms. Keypad door entry for easy check in and out.

Quaint little motel close to the beach

I came to town without any room reservations and was able to get the last available room, so glad I did. This place is so cute! The room was perfect size, had a comfortable bed and able to connect to your own video streaming services if you wanted. Couple of blocks from the beach and downtown so very well situated. 
At check-in the owner gave me a map to a secret spot to go watch the sunset and it was amazing, so glad I took the time to make the hike!
The bathroom is tiny but they have super thick and soft towels!!!!

Last minute stay

Risking “ no vacancy” for us in the future, this was a gem of a find last minute on a Sat in July. Spotlessly clean, old school motel - 2 walk block to the beach. Very friendly staff and all the amenities you would need for a last minute sleep over

Last minute sleep over

Not a lot of options in this area, and what is available often gets booked up. This family run motel is one of the hidden gems. Rooms are very clean, very quiet, with thoughtful touches throughout (coffee, water, soap, conditioners, etc). Rooms are large enough for two, bathrooms are quite small, though the shower is large enough and has excellent water pressure.  Beds are comfortable, linens and towels are clean. Very quiet. I woke up to find that my neighbors had left, and with a motel with your vehicle parked right outside your door, I was amazed I never even heard them leave. And I am a very light sleeper. It’s also close to downtown and to the beach. Walking distance to just about all you’ll be doing in this area. The family who run this place are very nice and accommodating as well. A great little find, and one I would gladly stay at again. 

Clean, quiet and comfortable 

Check in was a breeze, the lady at the desk was very welcoming and had everything already for us to check in. The room was immaculate and well taken care of with every amenity you could need in a one room space, the coffee was delicious, the furnishings were great. An easy walk to many restaurants and the beach made this a perfect getaway vacation, highly recommend!

Sweetest Place Ever!

Stayed here for two nights in June. There didn’t seem to be a lot of options in Ludington. This place looked to be  a safe bet, just what we were looking for on a trip where we would be spending most of our time out and about, just a place to sleep and shower. We booked a deluxe king room. It was a little pricey but these little towns on the lake all seem to run about the same. The rooms are big enough, the bathrooms tiny, the tv tinier. Everything is wood paneling, it's an old fashioned campy feel. It's adequate and clean. We would stay here again. 

Nice little motel

This place was spotless. Extremely accomodating. Will definitely be back. There was yogurt and water in the fridge. Fresh coffee too. Very quaint and homey. I am very leary about hotels but this one never had a bad review.
