My husband and I stayed six nights. The staff was very accommodating, not entering our room, but making sure we had everything we needed.
If you don't want to spend what it costs to stay slope side this place has great rates and is a very short drive to the mountain.
The downtown area of Ludlow, where there is a grocery,a few shops and restaurants, is an easy walk from the motel. Restaurant reservations are a must due to limited seating so plan ahead.
The motel also has family rooms.

The owners are rude, unprofessional, and disregard anything you have to say. The rooms are messy, the sheets have stains, and the whole place smells like bad fish. Your car is more likely the better option.

Do not spend your money here

First thing was seeing clean sheets on garbage bags in the room off of the office-  then the in the room was an awful odor, and when asked to change rooms I was given attitude. Then noticed used needles in bathroom. Got out out of there.
Do NOT recommend this place at all!

Awful place

Terrific  experience.. toilet in room didn't work, overflowed!! Lady owner refused to give us another room .. yelled at me on the phone .. then hung up on me .. her husband  came up and continued bro tell at for breaking their toilet .  .. they were so rude and awful .. felt threatend by his behavior.. would never recommend  to anyone  .. overall the place was a dump!!

A get away!!!

The room was unkept,  There were over-grown weeds everywhere.  NOT kept up at all, everything needed painted, the rooms, the outside buildings, the statues. The girl at the front desk didn't know where anything in the town was, not helpful. I booked it on line, the pictures were great....but don't be fooled.  
VERY DISAPPOINTED  The only reason I gave 2 (poor) is because of the location. We could walk the town

Beware - only stay here as a last resort.  My wife & I stayed years ago.  Place was charming, quintessential New England, well maintained and clean at the time.  New owners have run the place down to the ground.  It’s atrocious!  What a shame.

The owner sits at check-in desk.  Takes him 20+ minutes to check you in and requires a bunch of unnecessary paperwork.  Way behind the times.  Pray there isn’t another customer in front of you.  Extremely rude and speaks broken English.  Lobby looks like it had not been vacuumed in weeks.  He quoted my wife one price on the phone and charged us a much higher price upon arrival.  Completely unethical.

The wall paper is peeling off the walls of the room.  Ceiling paint peeling as well.  Found the previous guests socks & chapstick adjacent to the bed.  Could not adjust thermostat.  I noticed the fire extinguisher tags were significantly outdated.  Regret not taking pictures of everything.  The Ludlow building inspector would have a field day here.

Rundown, the worst customer service, outdated, dirty property

Father booked at this motel online and paid online. Went to check-in tried double charging us. So unfortunate had to cut vacation short and had to sleep in my car during freezing weather do to not being able to get a room. Terrible customer service bring a translator because they barely speak or comprehend the English language.

Never say here

We went to this place with the intention of skiing in Okemo. The location is perfect, just a few minutes by car from the slope. 

The motel is old but if you care just about sleeping, the room was warm and clean. 

The WiFi was terribly slow, often not working. Considering we had zero  signal with our phones that was really a problem because the WiFi was the only way to have our phones somewhat working. 

Front desk staff was a bit rude, a smile and a welcome at the check-in would go a long a way.

Ok place, good location

I found this option to be completely acceptable for skiing. If you’re in need of lots of amenities then probably look elsewhere. This location in town is great and I found the rooms to be a good size, comfortable beds and very clean.

Nice alternative

A previous reviewer mentioned the exterior of the property was terrible, decided to stay and anyway.  Well, don't. I thought how bad could it be?  The room 112 smelled old and musty. No ice except from the personal supply of the front desk person.  Bathroom clean. That's it. Torn bed skirts and covers. Replastered bathroom walls and towel racks. This place should not be approved to run as lodging. Horrible.
