I TRIED for a half hour to make a reservation with Joy who said she is in the back office of this hotel. She had NO IDEA what she was doing. First she quoted me a price for the stay and then she “couldn’t find” that price and put me on hold over and over again and finally suggested I go somewhere else as she had no idea what to do. I can only imagine what the stay would have been like!! 🙄

Clueless staff

I booked a double bed suite with a pullout couch and mentioned to reservations that I needed beds for 1 adult and 6 kids. I also put in a request for an extra cot to be in there. Reservations confirmed that this was possible. I wanted to treat my sister with a hotel break for their 14 hour drive. My sister and I both (separately) called the hotel the day of to make sure this was set before their arrival. The woman at the front desk confirmed that they would be in a suite large enough for one adult and 6 children. When they arrived, the hotel put my sister and her 6 children in a honeymoon suite with one bed and a pullout couch. The bathroom had no door on it, but a see through curtain. You can not have little boys and girls in one room with a bathroom that has a sheer curtain. There was also no extra cot. So my sister asked to be moved to another room and they just gave her a room with two double beds. Three of the children had to sleep on the floor. I got confirmation on Sunday from the front desk agent that worked Friday night that there was a pregnant woman with their kids that had a similar issue. That woman was given two room as a "sorry for the mix-up" They did NOTHING for my sister. I called and spoke with the manger, Regina, who tried to convince me that the curtain shouldn't have been a problem for them and that I shouldn't have tried to book a room with that many people in the first place. She said there was nothing she can do- no refund- nothing. How you can you treat guests like this. Whoever is reading this- they didn't care that the children had no door on the bathroom and three of them had to sleep on the floor because their was up on THEIR side.

It was entertaining watching the bugs with wings frolic in the pool, the room had a smell, a blend of wet rat and Grandpa Hensons' feet, mystery stains on bedding, moldy bathroom, you had to clean table for breakfast, hostess was too busy playing on phone  

Dirtiest room ever

All in all a horrible experience.  The carpet was filthy.  The caulking in the tub was mold/mildew stained.  Opened a drawer there was a used floss pick and hair pin.  Worst of all was the smell.  The "non smoking" room reeked of cigarette/cigar and other unidentifiable odors.

Over priced

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT let the sign out front saying “newly remodeled” fool you like it did us. It obviously hasn’t been updated in 20+ years.  We typically don’t stay at this brand hotel but were passing thru and all others full due to graduation weekend. We took a chance and It looked promising as we saw new carpet in the main corridor. But that is where it ended. The smell of mold knocked us over as we opened our room. It was bad. We turned the air as low as possible to take away the Caribbean feel. Any ways it was a bed and not much more.

Not Newly Remodeled

The first room we went in smelled awful hair was in the tub bugs in the bed and dirty utensils as if someone had already been in there before us so I went to front  desk nice lady said she would put us in a suite only to get another call from the assistant mgr stating that she wasn’t putting us in a suite. She was not pleasant. They moved us to room 151 you can tell a dog was in that room. Dog food on floor shower curtain had molded tub full of hair sink full of hair toilet seat broken urine on side of toilet just nasty. Called front desk to see how would they take care of my issues lady was very rude and disrespectful very unprofessional she didn’t even wanna hear me out she hung up in my face!!! Went to desk to talk to the manager over her she wasn’t rude but she only gave me 25$ off my room and I paid for 6 nights. I would advise not to spend your money there I have pictures as well. The whole crew needs to be fired that place is filthy. The housekeeping and the lady over housekeeping should be terminated. Nov.14-21 was my reservations and yes I’m talking about recent 2022

Experience was awful

This hotel was great! Totally recommend the beds were excellent so comfy and so many pillows. If you love pillows wow. They even had nice comforters on the bed it was so warm! Then bathroom was great and the fridge was little but roomy. And the breakfast was extremely excellent! Also very clean and the room smelled so good

Excellent

Found a pile of toenail clippings on the rug under the table, used toothpicks on the night stand, a shower curtain that had not been changed in years and no TV service.  There are two other motels at this highway intersection for roughly the same price.  Do yourself a favor and pick one of them

Dirty

There were so many things wrong with this hotel..have stayed here before but this time was awful, spiders in the bed, filthy furniture, clean towels unavailable??, duct tape holding mirror, window broken, screen broken, two different size beds..one small, frame was so large..metal bracket stuck out..my sister cut herself on it because she couldn't see it for the oversized bedskirt. Nightmare stay..staff tried to make it right..comped one night of our two night stay but geez. Offered another room but then we would have to debug, etc that one. Saw other rooms from the hallway, second floor rooms all about the same.

Horrible

The staff was really friendly but the hotel itself is just dingy. The hallways are dirty, rugs worn and needing to be replaced...walls needed to be painted.  The room itself was alright but you could tell that it needed a really thorough cleaning.  I wanted to use the desk to be at my laptop but there was no plug in within reach even though i had brought a fairly long cord. I think the entire hotel could just be described as old and tire.
