This place is a dive and the management is rude.

We had our dog with us.  Usually we stay at pet-friendly Best Westerns.  The Best Western Towne House was sold out that night and directed us to Tiki.  Terrible experience.  Locals know this place as one to avoid.

I didn’t take pictures but i have NEVER been to a more filthy hotel than this roaches crawling everywhere!! People outside making alot of noise all night!!!!!  Please do not come here if you have kids. I dont know how they are still open for business

The Worst

Tiki Lodge 936 McHenry Ave, Modesto, CA 95350 is disgusting! Associated with the Tiki Cocktail Lounge! Hair all over the bathroom. Dirt on the floor and inside fridge. Walls with incomplete paint job and holes, ripped curtain. Damaged furniture. Razor cover feom previous customer still in the shower that was not cleaned. A staff mamber entered the room while I was in it without my permission to finish cleaning! I now have bites on me! The microwave was missing the part you put food on. This place needs a health inspection! Nasty residue on sink handles, mirror, had to buy disinfectant wipes and spray! Which clearly still did not help me. These people should be ashamed of themselves! Hotel SHUTDOWN! Room 207

Shut it DOWN!

I have to say this is the absolute worst customer service I have EVER received in my life! I called to book a room ahead of time and Joe said to call back the day off because "he couldn't predict the future" in the rudest tone. I called back Thursday and he said that all rooms were booked to call back at 12. Instead of calling I showed up. The office was closed no one attended me till 5 minutes later. When I finally got to Joe he said he was booked and asked why I didn't call instead of showing up he was very negative and rude and went on to say he had no rooms. I look up and see someone cleaning one of the rooms and asked him to find out when it would be ready. He had me wait about 20 minutes till I finally got a room. Not only was the service horrible but it was so dirty. If I could give negative starts I would.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Very basic place on Mc Henry a main drag in Modesto. Very low cost. Low weekly rates. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very basic cable service with a few fun channels. Lotsa stuff is DIY but so far management is not invasive. Often there is no vacancy. So far so good worth a shot if one is between places and house hunting. Dunno why there are so many negative reviews

Filthy, cockroches.  Need I say more.....parking lot had I am assuming people who live there watch me like I was a piece of meat. The walls were dirty. The Internet was crap. Over all had a hard time sleeping afraid bugs would get me.

This place is disgusting the whole room smells like urine the blanlets stink and there ARE ROACHES!!!!! Yes i said it they are freaking disgusting not just 1 im talking alot....there is prostitution and drung deals in this hotel i would never ever stay here again its by far the worst place period i have ever seen

Very badly maintained motel, the sheets were dirty, the toilet towels too, the weather was not working... and there must have been a party or a nightclub nearby because we had noise almost all night!

Motel to avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!

We arrived around 11:45 p.m. and were very well received. The vouchers were badly made, yet the one who took care of us arranged everything. Unfortunately, the quality of this reception is not the same as the other services at this motel.

What a shame.

For a "choice" motel it would be a terrible choice to stay here! One channel, No pool and terrible internet. Not to mention the crack heads who stay here.
