Check in was extremely unfriendly, seemed ticked off to have a customer, room was dirty, hallways and elevator extremely run down, smell of cannabis throughout, I was concerned for personal safety. Balcony door unlocked on arrival, furniture had pieces out of it, dirty. Do not stay here.

Run, do not stop here.

Fluffy pillows huh. Well we don't know. My wife and I went to pay for a room. Lady working night at front desk was terribly rude and hated we were even there. She ran wife's card. And said card declined. I tried to talk but before I could finish one word. Like a child. She said card declined card declined card declined card declined. Over n over n over. Immediately following my wife calls bank n bank 5 state's away told my wife I see a transaction of $67.15. which is exactly the price of our room. At 104 ocean Blvd Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I tried to talk to the hatefullest woman I've ever seen working in public. And again card declined card declined card declined. Bank told my wife get them to fax a letter head that they do not have our money on record and bank said all I have to do is push a button and refund your money. That was 10 days ago. Morning afternoon night doesn't matter when my wife walks in and asks for manager or lady at front desk supervisor she hears he's not in back at 3:00 o'clock. Come in at 3:00. Oh he's in a meeting. Come back tomorrow. Tomorrow they tell her he'll be in at 3:00 and there we go again. We told the lady look bank said to fax. Not run. Not walk. Not drive. Hell you don't even have to put it on the leg of a carrier pigeon. Bank said fax them the letter head to our bank and they will immediately refund our money. The lady said I'm not authorized to do that he'll be in at 3.  People looks like we have a failure to communicate. I know it's off season here but holy cow batman. You just can't take people's money in this day n age. And not expect some backlash. This runaround snow job were getting has been going on 10 days now.

They have taken our money.

I Took my daughter to Myrtle Beach for her 16th birthday and we stayed here and we Loved it! Very peaceful, beautiful views, especially love the balcony! The only issue we had was our refrigerator froze everything but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Will definitely be going back!

Great Place To Stay!

This isn’t the Hilton by any means but being oceanfront, with my dog, grass areas for potty time right outside and the boardwalk, sorry but you can’t beat it. We stay for 9 days every year in September and have had no issues. The staff is always helpful and I love the location. You can literally walk the boardwalk into town for restaurants, attractions, and shopping. We stay in the Birds Nest and use the Bar Harbor pool next door since they’re sister hotels. It’s a little more expensive but worth it to be out of the main hotel.

Location! Location! Location!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed! A dirty washcloth was hanging in the bathroom and the hardware on the bathtub was hanging off. The toilet paper didn't have a place to hang that was close to the toilet. The room was a shoebox and dirty. There was no coffee pot as advertised and the TV remotes did not work for the TV in the room. The area outside the motel was trashy. It's hard to enjoy someplace when you feel everything is dirty and makes you feel unclean.

The room was so nasty. The sheets were gross. There was dryed blood on blanket . Sheets were dirty looking . No ice machine on 4th floor except a brocken one. The parking was bad. Would not stay there again. The view was Beautiful. Was the only thing nice about the place

Room was dirty. Had to jiggle the door handle to get it to lock. Some hot tub jets are not working.  Location is the one redeeming feature. If at all possible go somewhere else.  Beds are hard also. Bad

Bad needs remodeling and cleaning 

Stayed here for a total of 6 days. Once I first arrived the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Pamela at the front desk is a sweetheart. I was put up on the 6th floor ocean front. Oh wow what the perfect view from here. Room was very clean and had everything I needed. It also had a jacuzzi tub as well which was very nice after long walks on the beach. The place is great and definitely the price is perfect. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Thx again Burmuda sands for a wonderful stay.

Bermuda Sands is a dump not a resort. It's more like staying at the Bates Motel. It was filthy, smelled of urine, no housekeeping, and had to argue for clean towels. Our room had a used bandaid on the wall, bugs were abundant and the lazy river had no floats. Staff was rude and there was no parking. The only good thing was the ocean view. I would never stay here again and Myrtle Beach is overrated. Go to the beaches in North Carolina, they are so much better. The whole area near Bermuda Sands reeked of marijuana and there were homeless people hanging around the hotel.

Stay away from here

Check in staff was rude, my room had pretzels on the floor, toilet seat was broken, didn’t ask for a smoking room, was told they are all smoking rooms, was supposed to be an ocean front room and was not. Parking is VERY limited and awful. Never got offered clean bathing towels, had to go to the front desk and get them. I found a straight razor blade also in my room. The pool and hot tub were so dirty that we choose not to use them.  On day of check out which is 11:00, so I thought, at 10:20 a person form housekeeping come barging in my room to realize his mistake! Over all the whole place smells bad and between floors is dirty.  Would not recommend staying here.
