This is not close to a five star experience.  Service was almost non existent. Room was not cleaned one day, “trouble with house keeper, sorry”. Rooms are not insulated properly so we heard a lot of noise from other rooms. Hallway carpets are dirty and old. 
We would have a hard time rating the Blue Iris (3) three stars. 

Disappointed

We just came back from spending two days on Nantucket Island. This was a last minute getaway with two friends. The hotel is very cute and well located in a quiet street in the town. The staff at the Blue Iris was amazing. Sarah and Christian were very friendly and  professional. There woman that greeted us when we arrived was also great and ready to help with anything we needed. The evening receptionist too was very helpful, we were cold and she provided an additional comforter. We got an upgrade to a two bedroom suite that opened into a beautiful courtyard where we had a delicious breakfast. The toiletries are from Le LaBo. We took three hotel bikes all day and went to Cisco beach. The hotel also provided beach towels.  We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you! 

Most comfortable stay in Nantucket Island

Very quaint -small hotel that has a great location.  Pros very clean, great water pressure, self check in and out and great location. Cons VERY small rooms, no frills hotel meaning no onsite bar restaurant, gym, or room service. Christian was great to deal with.

Lovely Hotel

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in 30 years of traveling. I was booked for what was near their opening weekend in June 2022, with a three night stay starting on Sunday night. I got a call on Friday at 2 PM saying that the hotel opening was going to be delayed (they blamed it on weather and construction delays) and that they would try to move me to another hotel but no promises. They first offered another Life House property, but after telling me it was confirmed, I called again and they said that was already booked and put me in the Nantucket Inn, with no discount or compensation. They couldn’t even accommodate a colleague who was also going to stay there, and basically said tough luck. Unbelievable. And then the cherry on top, i called every day to get a refund (nope) or a credit for a stay, and after saying they would give me 2 nights, they stopped responding and I didn’t get anything for them leaving me completely high and dry 48 hours before a stay in an island with limited accommodations. Outrageous and would warn anyone who is looking here to look anywhere else and only stay here as a last resort. Worst customer service ever.

Worst customer service ever, would rate this a zero if i could

We were just going to spend one night on the island.  We went in October.  What a pleasant surprise.  A little gem nestled close to downtown.   The rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully.  Loved the design of the bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again.

Such a cute cozy spot

Not a place for kids or people looking for a full-service hotel, but terrific for singles or couples who are looking for a clean, comfortable, good-sized room with a boutique-y vibe. Excellent location for those who want to be on a quiet street while just a couple blocks from Main Street and the ferries. Very friendly staff too. Pricey for what is is, but that’s Nantucket.

Incredible location, great rooms and hospitable staff. Had an amazing weekend and will be back at the Blue Iris!! Marc Anthony was very accommodating and helped with making reservations and great recommendations around Nantucket! 

Absolute Gem

I enjoyed my stay very much, in large, due to the kind, attentive, and knowledgeable staff; the ideal location in the center of town; and the beautiful design with impeccable attention to detail.

The room was a bit smaller than I anticipated, which is my only criticism (otherwise would rate 5/5). As one of the newly renovated hotel’s first guests, there was limited current information or reviews to research the rooms/evaluate room size by pictures. This is as expected for a new place that will surely gain more reviews soon. 

The location was perfect! Everything in the main part of town was close by. There are a number of fantastic sites, shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, etc in walking distance. There is street parking available, but it is limited and time restricted. Most people get around by bicycle or by foot. The location around Blue Iris is clean, well maintained and safe. 

Blue Iris is  beautifully designed with much attention to detail. There was the most pleasant fragrance in the hotel and lovely music playing in the background. The bed and sheets were very comfortable.  It was nice to have the option of a small breakfast, coffee, and happy hour to mingle with others at the hotel. 

You cannot go wrong with a stay at Blue Iris. It was a great home away from home for my first stay in Nantucket. Thank you to the kind staff who made the stay extra enjoyable.

Masterfully designed, cozy getaway in Nantucket

To begin with, what a location!!  It is in the heart of Nantucket's charming downtown. We stayed on their first floor and the room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom was large and had a lovely new shower and plenty of light. 
Our king bed was spacious, but cozy with the four posters and crisp white lines enveloping us. The manager, Francesca, was present and pleasant throughout answering all our questions about the town's history, securing bikes at a moments notice and making sure the breakfast food was replenished, fresh and delicious.  I cannot say enough about The Pineapple Inn. Nantucket is a magical island and The Pineapple Inn is a magical retreat!

Amazing service, location and staff! Would definitely come back next time I am in Nantucket. The staff were super kind and accommodating. When I needed anything at all they were right there. Amazing time and people.
