Me and my family  staying  select inn hermitage  the other night had fire destroyed  all motel promise  put us up another motel but as we getting  ready leave they said no throw us out who throw family  with 14 year old son on street no where go been there 22 weeks they stole from my room best believe  were going sue I've got proof of fire I got pictures and paper shows  about fire and states I lived there select inn hermitage  tn now giving  all lawyer we done talk too and took our case  so we will see you court truth dont lie neither does proof and I got it all you should  feel ashamed  throwing my family  out when I never  miss payment  whole 26 weeks see you in court !room 241 our room fire destroyed  it all but rest assured  my lawyers drawing up paper work !

This may have been the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. There were sections of the floor missing, electrical hazards in every outlet, and worst of all, a blood stain on the bathroom floor. I didn't dare even take shower. This place needs to be condemned. 

Stay away...

Nice clean budget chain hotel. Close to the airport with a basic breakfast included. Rooms are clean & no road noise. Air conditioners are fairly quiet & great hot water pressure. Car parking right outside your room.

Budget but nice

This is my second stay here in 3 months.  The price is cheap and basically you get what you pay for.  Didn't have any issues with either visit.  We had a shower, bathroom, sink, fridge, TV, wifi, and a bed to sleep in,which is all that we needed.  The location is pretty convenient.  It is close to Nashville Shores, and about 10-15 mins from DT and right by the interstate with many places to eat within walking distance.  Apparently, they were busy but we never had any issues with parking, other customers, or the owners.

A Place to Sleep

This hotel is the worst ever! It is so nasty and disgusting! My family checked into this hotel for the week they wanted to give me a room with boards all covered on the windows, then they traded the room for a nastier room had to go in and scrub it down with bleach and pine sol and it was still awful the smell was so gross it still didn't go away. I work and go to school on line so the internet service was so horrible they offered to move us to another room . After complaining about the broken beds they decided to put new beds in the rooms, we had lifted the mattress and their was drug paraphernalia  under the mattress but the housekeeper had been in the room a couple of days before so she either doesn't clean or they tried to plant some crap in the room so they can try to get their money back. I also witnessed a customer ask a woman from the front desk for courtesy shampoo and she was so mad because she had to get off her phone to help the customer. they whole family and friends live there and are employed there and they are all rude and disrespectful all day long they sit on the phone even the housekeepers sit on the phone while they suppose to be cleaning. The complimentary Breakfast is a joke they charge you $25 for the week and everything is watery and the same one lady had a hair in her waffle so sad. I also witnessed one of the staff members calling out the N word in front of a African American person and thought bit was funny but no one said anything not even the other staff members. This hotel really needs to be shut done to poor service, cleanliness etc.

"Extremely dirty and the service was "Awful"

If we could have received a refund, we would have immediately gone to another hotel. Maintenance is terrible, housekeeping is poor and rooms are positively shabby. Could not get out of there fast enough the next morning.

Downright AWFUL

I checked in around 3 on a Friday, and left around 4 to explore and go to a concert. I did not drive, and left my keys and my tablet in the room. 

I ended up falling asleep at a friend's place because the uber cost was triple at the time, but I called one around 6 am. I arrived around 6:30, only to find out that since I had not been there that night (NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS, I RENTED THE ROOM) that they rerented my room to someone else. Please remember MY STUFF WAS STILL IN THERE. And then they tried to get me to take another room, and when I said I want a refund, they did not want to give it to me.

Worst hotel ever...

This motel was not fancy by any means! But what it was is clean, and friendly! The owner greeted us and did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable.  We have never had service like this👍🏻

Vacation 

We entered the room and were overwhelmed with the odour. Within minutes we found cockroaches. Unfortunately we were in Nashville to see the eclipse and could not get a room anywhere else.  We had a sleepless night with the lights on to keep the cockroaches in hiding.  By far the worst hotel experience of our lifetime. This place should be condemned, and closed by Nashville Health authorities. Better to sleep in your vehicle.  The owners should be ashamed to charge anything.  Not fit for humans!

Deplorable

We were in town for the eclipse, and booked through a travel website (not Trip Advisor) that gave this place 2.5 stars. I call BS on that rating. We walked into our second floor room and were hit with an odor that was a mixture of death and body odor.  We looked for another room, but Nashville was sold out, so we stuck it out at this hotel. 

The next thing we noticed was that the floor had a definite tilt to it. The top of the bed was not level, tables were askew, etc. To make sure it wasn't an optical illusion, I poured water on a tabletop and it ran diagonally across the table.  Almost immediately. Someone forgot to use a level when building the second floor, perhaps? 

The lovely parking lot had some very interesting people milling about.  We were (and remain) convinced that the dumpsters were being used for body part disposal. The parking lot also had something oozing out of the blacktop. It had not rained, but there were puddles and rivulets of a reddish-brown liquid that would not dry up. Even in 99 degree heat. For three days. The paved surface was actually squishy in certain spots. 

To top it off, although we stayed out late every night to avoid being in the room any more than necessary, upon arriving one evening we spotted a (used) sanitary napkin on the stairway. It stayed there for two days. I cannot imagine that the maid service was any more thorough. 

Avoid at all costs. Sleep in your car in a parking lot before you stay at this place.
