The only reason we stayed here was because every other hotel in town was booked up.  We read the reviews and wondered what we would find.  The facility has lived under several company names in its life, most recently a rundown Super-8.  It has had some extensive renovation and brought up to what you would expect for a Econo Lodge.  The new owners have punched all the right buttons to fit the theme of the company but keep in mind it is not a Quality or Comfort brand.  Very limited choice on breakfast fare, bath linens are thin and a lite gray in color appearing worn and stained, beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable, front desk staff was great.  The pool was not operational at the time of our visit.  

A cheap nights stay

Remodel looks "fair". Getting close to done . . . maybe, lots of junk n stuff scattered here and there. Staff is super friendly, easy check in. Our room is clean but, sparse. Two wimpy little towels and NO local channels on super low budget cable TV.  Bad breakfast, very bad. Not organized, bad coffee, no hot water for oatmeal packets. NO protein, nothing good.
So, overall a pretty poor value at well over $100. Won't stay again.

Remodel nearly done?

Simply loved the newly remodeled room & everything new... Glad I hit confirmed though I first doubt since this used to be Super 8 and now Econo Lodge which was really worth it! Clean room, hospital staff & convenient. Will stay again with friends on the way back.

Worth the Price 

Comfy bed serves its purpose! Soft pillows and generous enough in providing extra to cuddle when requested. Clean and helpful staff! Very welcoming - making you feel at home! Will surely stay there again whenever our route passes through the same direction. Thank you Econo Lodge - till next time!

Home away from home

It was a beautiful location and really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the staff. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Good Place To Stay

I was desperate for a room so I didn't take much time looking around. It wasn't very good but I needed to sleep and I did so I was grateful. There was painting equipment in the hallway but that is just putting lipstick on a pig. The place needs serious renovation. But it was cheap and no bed bugs. I checked.

Not Fancy But It Was Cheap

Absolutely horrible. Below ground level is being renovated, but that didn't stop the desk clerk from giving us a room there. Once moved to the second floor, we were still sorry we chose this motel. Bedding and bathroom linens appeared dirty and needed replacement. Had to get out of there early the next morning so that we could enjoy breakfast elsewhere. This motel should be condemned.

What a rip-off. Stay anywhere else.

I sold my house locally and needed a room for a few nights.  Booked here because I had stayed here before when it was a Super8. It was dated but clean and comfortable.  New owners turned it into an Econolodge and remodeled it.  Near as I can tell, they chose their contractor because either they're related or the owner lost a bet.  It's so bad it's like they are purposely making it worse! First off,  came into the room, went to plug in my phone and none of the outlets work in the room except for the one the TV is plugged into.  Clock plugged in, not working.  You'd think someone would catch that.  No lamps or lights anywhere near the bed so you have to turn off the light by the door and stumble thru the darkness to find the bed.  Went to take a shower.  No wash clothes, no hand towels.  Bath towels were dirty.  No trash can in the bathroom and water comes out lukewarm at best.   Skipped the shower, laid down on a piece of what felt like laminate under a thin bedspread.  Bed sucks.  Turned on the TV. Their direct TV package is 2 hockey, 2 news, forensic files and 40 infomercial channels.  I'm not kidding.  Curtains won't shut all the way so people can see into your room, no smoke detector.  Last but not least, they are remodeling so there is mattresses, tools, screens all up and down the hallway.  It's a joke.  The owners should be ashamed of themselves.  I don't even care if I don't get refunded, I'm going to a different hotel.  The only saving grace was the girl working the front counter.  I didn't catch her name but it was only her 3rd night and she was very helpful and sweet.  This place will ruin her.  Sleep in your car before considering renting a room here.  Seriously.  This is one turd that can't be polished.

Caveat Emptor

Things (using the words of the young man at the front desk” were Jengky. Smell, breakfast was sad. In room coffee pot had old grounds still in it. No TV remote in room.backdown did not lock or eve close so breakfast room had more flies than humans. And I think both the young man at night and the woman in the morning felt they had better things to do then their jobs.
