The only good thing about this place was the son who is pleasant. From the outside it looks clean and well kept. That’s where it stops. I’m not sure if this is a COVID thing or not ( not able to evict) but there were long term residents here- one with an ankle monitoring bracelet! They were all local and I twice saw shady stuff go down with new clothing with tags being taken room to room ( presumably stolen, to sell for drugs, I might be wrong but who knows) and cops were there once while we stayed. Though they allow dogs- we were told we couldn’t walk them by the motel- where there is a sign to pick up after your dog and a doggie bag waste holder- we were instructed to walk them on the side of the building ( that runs along the highway, and is in front of a distributor, tall grass, busy, and where there are zero lights! It’s not safe to do-especially since this faces the back of all the rooms with long term tenants who partied. Hospitality came by to ask if we needed anything while she was smoking a cigarette- very unprofessional. Rooms were lacking considerably considering the price! Old fixtures. Mold. Stained bedding. Overall- we weren’t mugged and we didn’t die but we won’t ever stay here again and would have left upon check out if anything else would have accommodated us! They claim to be pet friendly but they are not... they don’t really want to accommodate pet owners- just charge you per day for them to stay in the room ( and my dogs are cleaner then the tenants who were there!!)

Do yourself a favor and drive past and stay in El Dorado or an AirBnB that does accept pets - not just charges for them!

We pass through Nevada often and I had always wanted to try this place.  It just reminded me of the roadside motels back when I was a child.  Traveling with family, we decided this would be a fun time to try it.  The positives are the room and the bathroom were quite large, with the bathroom being especially spacious.  The towels were soft, although quite thin.  The hard surfaces appeared to be clean.  The bed was reasonably comfortable and we never saw any signs of bugs.  Sadly, the negatives were far greater for us.  The deadbolts on the two rooms we had did not work so that we only had the chains on our door for security.  The walls are thin and the neighbors were loud well into the night, including their barking dog.  The room was dark, shabby, the door was  damaged and patched, the carpet was badly stained and worn, the bedspread was also stained and smelled like body odor, the heater for the room didn't work, the sound on the television was going out but the thing that was the most problematic for us was we were in a room that was marked as non-smoking but it absolutely reeked of smoke to the point it was nauseating.  When we called right after getting in to our room to see if we could change our room, the lady was very abrupt and said no and that nothing else was available, even though we observed that the motel never did come close to filling up that night.  We got up earlier than we had planned just to be able to leave that place.  We travel a lot and I think this is only the 2nd time in 25 years that I've ever given a poor review on any site.  We won't return.  There are too many other places to stay in Nevada.

Shabby not quaint

On the last night of our trip to and from Tulsa, I found this older Inn in Nevada that the reviews looked decent.  After we finally go checked in (clerk not understanding how to get the reservations that came in online), we ventured back to our room.  The room was spacious with 2 queens and yet still LOTS of open space in the main room. The bathroom was divided into 2 areas, the double sink area and then the area where there was a tub, a separate shower and a stool.  All of this area was clean and well maintained.  The carpet in the bedroom area was older but was clean.  The fridge required being plugged in before it could be used, but it cooled our drinks fine.  Our beds were comfortable and the room was overall good.  Given the price, I would stay here again and again.  Yes, it was not a 5 star hotel, but it was clean and safe and it did not come at a 5 star price either.   

Older but clean and well kept 

I lived in Nevada for years, came back for a visit and thought I'd forgo the "chain" motels.  Eeek!   As soon as I entered the "lobby", the smell of mildew was overwhelming!   
The unkempt female desk clerk came from out of nowhere, startling me from my amazed review of the decor in the office!  Not retro.... Just OLD!
I asked the cost of a room for me for one night, she hesitated for a minute, and then said $79.95.   I thought, genuinely, that she was joking!  For a room in a mildewed old motel?!?!?   I was sort of speechless.  Then she asked, " it's just you? ", I replied that it was just me and my service dog.  She them told me that I'd have to pay the extra " dog fee".  When I tried to explain that it was illegal for her to charge that for a service dog.... And said "nope, a dog's a dog"

I went down the street.  There's four nice chain locations there.  Had a nice quiet night, for $25 less!

Mildew + high price + rude clerk = noway!!

Spacious rooms and a great value.  Little side stop and definitely not a hotel chain experience.  It's a throwback to the roadside inns of the 50s and 60s before the interstates took over.  Nice little family run place with services nearby. 

Nevada Inn 

We stayed here in room 24 with our dog.  The decor was older, but the room had an enormous bathroom with both a walk in shower and tub.  The beds were really comfy, and my sore back needed that.  There was a microwave and refrigerator.  The WiFi was fast.  As with all motels, we asked to see the room first.  Yes, it is dated, but well taken care of.  I liked the aqua bathroom fixtures.  Our room had a double sink.  We will definitely stay here again.

Older property but very clean and comfy

This place was a great stop over. The bathroom was big enough for a party and clean! I have back trouble and many fancy hotels with high price tags have crummy beds. This bed was so comfortable. This place reminded me of the old time roadside motels complete with aqua colored bathroom fixtures!
Fantastic price! Would stay again!
