The Rosewood Inn at Rye

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and include closets and drawers. There was the cutest little bench with drawers right under the TV. And the TV had outputs that we could hook up to our switch. The mini fridge worked great. There was a table, microwave and chairs. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The bedding was great. It was so hard not to just spend my whole time laying in bed. The walk in shower was awesome. My favorite part though was actually not the room. It was the bench outside the door. The fresh flowers in the flowerbed outside each room were beautiful and when it rained, the entire parking area smelt like mint. The laundry area was clean and simple to use. I loved being able to pay the service over my phone. The customer service was awesome. I am so used to having to request maid service since Covid. To come in each day to find my bed made with my pajamas folded on the end was so cute. Each morning there was muffins, cereal, fruit, water and juice available in the office. There were even snack bars to take with you. (They even called me to make sure I didn't have any certain dietary needs for breakfast.) I found out the mattress are handmade. They are within 5 minutes of Walmart, Market Place and the Hungry Lobster (you have got to try the Fluffy Chowder, OMG!!). They are also right near Seabrook, which had the lowest gas prices we found in the area. The town of Rye is adorable. The houses are perfect for pictures. I was there for a week of my two week New England adventure and I wish I would have booked them for the entire two weeks. I promise I will be back and I promise I will recommend this place to anyone I know that is going to New England. It is centrally located and can be used as a main stop for people visiting the Boston area or Maine. We did the Kank drive from there one day and went to a Bruins game the next. We also drove to Gloucester and did a whale watch. They do have watches in Rye but they had already closed for the season. That's another thing, we came after the main summer season, so the hotel was not as full. We noticed that they placed guests in diagonal rooms whenever possible. I have no complaints. I do have one suggestion. I would have loved to have had a water bottle refill station. There were bottles of water in the office, but we brought our thermos bottles to save from using as much single use plastic.  

Best place to stay on the East Coast. Centrally located for Boston area or Southern Maine.

The property was well maintained and well designed. There were shelves and hooks and small details everywhere. Our room was well designed and thought out by someone who clearly cared about guests having a comfortable stay. 

The staff went above and beyond to help us when we left the parking lights on overnight on our rental car. One staff member loaned us a jumper battery from her car to jump start our rental vehicle. When that didn’t work, another staff member went home to get jumper cables and we successfully jump started the car the old fashioned way. This was service above and beyond what I I have ever expect. I’m so happy we stayed at the Inn at Rye Place.

Great service, comfy rooms

We cannot speak highly enough about the Inn at Rye Place. Immaculate, extremely comfortable bed and room, very quiet.  Adequate grab and go breakfast. Staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.

PERFECT STOPOVER 

It is always a fantastic stay when we go to the Inn at Rye Place. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The beds are the best beds I’ve ever slept in. So comfortable!  I highly recommend staying here. 

Excellent stay

My husband and I were traveling through the north east with another couple. We were so lucky to find this inn for an overnight stay.  Large, super clean room, with an excellent staff. It will definitely be on our list when staying in Rye.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful property just south of Portsmouth. Large rooms which were spotless and beautifully finished. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and nice fire pits for your enjoyment.  This property exceeded our expectations.

You will not be disappointed!

Large, comfortable room with wonderful bed, and side chairs and table overlooking the beautiful yard with glorious fall colors! Very quiet, lots of outdoor space including seating, tables, firepits and lovely landscaping.  The room had every thoughtful amenity, the office staff was helpful, and there's even cookies upon arrival and grab n go breakfast. Plus easy access to Logan without having to stay in a 'chain' airport hotel. A total 10!

Spacious, Spotless, Spectacular

We had stayed here several years ago. The Inn now has new owners and been completely renovated within the last year or two. Comfortable beds, very attractive decor, lovely wood cabinets/closet. Everything was very clean. Staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. In the back of the property is a large area with Adirondack chairs and fire pits - perfect for lounging, a picnic or conversing with fellow travelers. Next door is the Office Lounge, a bar and restaurant with eat in and take out options, which we enjoyed. We will definitely return to the Inn at Rye Place!

What a wonderful place to stay we so enjoyed our time there!    The rooms were really lovely and spacious and comfortable.    Everyone was so welcoming with so many thoughtful touches to make it a great experience.   Highly recommend staying here.
