Stopped in for the night on our way elsewhere. Front desk lady was very friendly, and the price was good. Our room was VERY clean. It’s been a while since I stayed in a smaller motel this clean. Absolutely no issues. Bed was firm, which I love, sheets were soft. Even though it’s on a busy road, it was a quiet rest. Breakfast is just prepackaged muffins, honey buns and bananas, but there’s a McDonald’s across the street. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Super clean

I normally don't leave reviews, but there was no way I was not leaving one for this establishment. Before checking in I'd seen the online reviews and was hoping that I wouldn't be disappointed. Upon checking in and speaking with the owner Mr. Patel, I knew my mother and I were in the right place. I was given one room and I jokingly stated that I'd love to have the next room, which was the same as my birthdate.  Mr. Patel was so accommodating that he gave me the room with that number. The rooms were so nice and clean. The premises is well lit, that you can't help but feel secure. So if you're looking for somewhere to stay Mr. Patel and his wife will DEFINATELY take very good care of you!!!!  Kudos and God bless you guys!!!

Weekend wedding .....

Took trip from NJ to Savannah away from I95. Passed through Jacksonville and was satisfied with Best Rest Inn. No issues. It's  on main drag.   My room was in wing farthest from road, clean, quiet and warm.  Bed comfortable. Basic amenities. If fussy, you may want to pack your own soap, shampoo and lotion. 
Friendly lady at the desk confirmed my supper restaurant choice as good spot so I headed off. Saw the breakfast situation/setup area when checking in so no big expectations. Grabbed a coffee in morning and hit the road.

Mid-Feb Road Trip

This motel is great.  Rooms are clean and cozy.  My room had a little kitchenette, which I greatly appreciated.  But, the reason for my review is Mr.  Patel, the owner.  I locked myself out of my room at 5:00 AM, going to get coffee at McDonalds across the street.  I am certain I awoke him, but he was gracious enough to let me into my room. When I mentioned needing coffee, he said McDonalds didn’t open until 6:00, so he made coffee early for me.  (And gave me Aleve for my headache!) he said he’d make early coffee for me for the length of my stay.  The next day, sure enough, at 5:00, there was a full pot of hot coffee, just for me.  He greeted me with a smile.  God bless you, Mr.  Patel!

Mr Patel

This is a simple roadside motel that is very clean and the king size bed is incredibly comfortable.  Jimmy and his team are friendly, personable, and so very accommodating.  It is a comfort to know that there are still these small, well cared for places to stay along our country's roads.

A nice place to stay.

It's a simple motel. The room is clean. But no coffee maker in the room. We booked 'with breakfast'. Literally, there was no room to serve breakfast and we were curious about the next morning. The 'so-called' breakfast was served in the tiny room at the front desk. Breakfast was coffee and to kinds of small sweet pastries wrapped in plastic and bananas.

Simple motel with breakfast what is not really a breakfast

Forty years of being on the road give me a unique perspective on motels for the business traveler. This property is older but IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The air conditioners are kept in top shape are quiet and cool in the summer and warm in the winter - both very quietly. The rooms and exterior are kept freshly painted. The carpet in the rooms are kept looking new. The owner's personally handle the housekeeping. It makes all the difference in the world. The bed linens including comforters are all white and spotlessly clean and extra soft.  There is excellent outdoor lighting and a large parking lot. All the rooms open to the parking lot. 2 entrances make it easy to get in and out. The rooms have micro waves and fridges & of course good TV. The water pressure is great and the water is as hot as you like. The ice machines have filters on them. The continental breakfast is fresh Bunn coffee assortment of pastry and fruit. Being a gardener the potted plants in the flower bed grown by the owner is a treat. The property is very quiet. Jimmy at the front desk during the day has been with the property for years. He is extremely helpful The new lady clerk at night is as sweet as she can be. I met the owners & they are wonderful people. Hard working Americans.

A Hidden GEM in Jacksonville!!

We have stayed here several times. It is always clean staff are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at hotels on Topsail fort twice the money this motel was cleaner.  Wouldn t stay anywhere else while in town.

Vacationer

The style looks kinda out dated but it doesnt matter. My room was extremly clean, nice furniture. The. towels and sheets had softness to them. Even the carpet was clean n had softness n cushion. Nice n quiet at night. Ill definately be staying at this motel again

Comfortable stay

This was a nice basic motel.  The staff were friendly.  the rooms were clean and quiet.  it is an older motel, but the owners are doing a great job keeping it up.  Plenty of Parking.  The AC filter was spotless!
