We had a 2 bedroom unit that was ocean front. The balcony was great and our view was spectacular. The unit was comfortable. It was dated and the appliances are old (don't run the dishwasher at night - it is so loud!) but they were all in working condition. The master bathroom has a great shower and it was super nice to be able to access the patio from the living area and the master bathroom. If you like to watch TV, the satellite they use doesn't show you a guide. It would have been nice to be able to access my streaming services on the TVs but these aren't Smart TVs. All of the staff we encountered were very nice - always smiling which is nice to see. We didn't use the outdoor or indoor pool, but the indoor pool is salt water which is so nice! The lazy river pool looked nice too, but we were here in February and that is too cold for us. The easy beach access was fabulous. The sink in the kitchen was huge; but the garbage disposal switch was in a very difficult location. We loved the bench dining table - we do a lot of work on our trips and that made a good "desk". Overall we had a great stay here and would come back!

Great view & spacious room

Very nice resort, clean and well maintained. Building 2 doesn't have the ocean view, it is across the street from building 1 which faces the beach and houses the indoor pool and the activity center. They have lots of activities and very friendly and accomodating staff. I would definitely stay here agin.

North myrlte Beach

We stayed in Shore Crest II.  Admittedly we did not get the sea view, but one of the road and houses. However, our 2-bed unit was huge and beautifully maintained, with great bathrooms, super comfortable beds, TV’s, fully equipped kitchen etc. The little gardens, the heated pools, easy parking etc.  And the location less than a 5 min drive to shops, restaurants and movie theatre.  Love this much more quiet and friendly part of M.B. And the staff were so helpful and efficient with our requests.

Large Airy Units, Great Beach and Location!

The check in procedure is totally ridiculous ! Ask for my info and id multiple times within 10 feet by two groups , same info, then have to run the gauntlet just to get the parking pass AND  a lot of the ? ask is frankly irrelevant and none of their business. Doesn't get any better. When i tell them NO TOUR, NOT INTERESTED STOP CALLING THE ROOM ! LOTS OF EXCESS NOISE ABOVE ,BESIDE OR SOMEWHERE ?

I’m very happy I chose shore crest villas1. Villas2 is across the street would not have been happy there. I was very happy. I chose building number one. I had a two bedroom oceanfront beautiful view. The hallways in the building were a little dated could’ve use some paint, but when I got in the room, I was pleasantly surprised.

First time visiting shore, crest villas1

Unit had recently been renovated with great furniture, best pull out couch with topper ever, nice to have washer and dryer in the 2 bedroom unit, with 2 bathrooms.  The coffee machine in the lobby of tower 1 was the best I have ever encountered, provided all sorts of options.  On the down side, the kitchen cupboard layout was very poor, it was extremely difficult t access almost half of them. Almost half of the wall outlets would not hold a plug in place, they would just fall out, the hair dryer in the second bathroom did not work and was not replaced as promised, and the TV remote in the second bedroom did not work properly.  The microwave was rusted and chipped on the inside. 

Definite Pros and Cons

We stayed in Shorecrest 2 in a 2 bedroom Marsh view. My parents stayed in 1 bedroom partial ocean view. Rooms were nice. Full kitchen and laundry in units. A few minor issues: Our oven messed up and the maintenance team fixed it, plus the toilet needed a new piece, and we asked if they would change the master shower head, as it was barely any pressure. They were polite and fixed our issues. The kids loved the lazy rivers on both sides. The indoor pool was a nice escape from the busy beach and outdoor pool.  If you do an “owner meeting” be prepared to stay way more than an hour.  Not worth the incentive they give for coming. We’d rather enjoy those hours of vacation with our family instead of getting stressed out declining to buy more points!

Nice family getaway

The location was excellent and the staff were wonderful in addressing any questions/needs we had. However, this resort had only 2 elevators which caused several longer than expected waiting times.
There were great activities available for everyday.


Great beach vacation

The place itself is a little dated but very clean.
There was staff available whenever needed.
The room was clean and nice for two people.
The owner and management co. were terrible.
Booked in March for 4 nights in May.
Less than 48 hours before arrival was sent an email canceling our last night.
Told we had to agree per Airbnb. Left us without a room for our last night with airline tickets and a rented car.

Very Family Friendly. Staff was great!

Property looks a bit run down but is very clean. Staff were friendly. Our villa was on the marsh side. It was quiet and enjoyable. Just a short walk across the street is the beachside villa and beach. Easy to get to.

North MB was a nice place to stay but at least a mile walk to dining and shopping. If limited mobility or not interest in foot travel, be prepared to Uber/Lyft/taxi.
