We have stayed here multiple years at this time of year. Rooms are always fresh and clean.

They need to better identify the hot water position in a few of the showers four of us had to take cold showers. 

Good value 

We had a wonderful stay at the MV Surfside Hotel in Oaks Bluff.  The hotel staff were wonderful,  friendly and helpful in every way.  The gardens were  absolutely beautiful and  room immaculately clean.  The bed was comfortable and the location perfect.  We left our car and took the ferry over on foot.  The hotel was perfectly situated to the beach, restaurant and shops in OaksBluff and right next to a buses for easy access around the Island.  Our room was on the 3rd floor.  Nice ocean view but the stairs killed me.  (My only complaint)

Wonderful stay in Oaks Bluff at the MV Surfside Hotel

This place is in a great spot that’s walkable to all important parts of Oak Bluffs. 
They do a great job of keeping the facility clean. And the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!
The only downsides were that the bathroom is pretty small with very little space to put anything (like toiletries), and because it’s so close to downtown, you can hear the thumping music of the nearby club(s) faintly if your room is otherwise silent. 
I’d definitely stay there again!

Great spot - very clean!

Small quaint hotel steps from everything in Oak Bluffs—beach, shopping, restaurants and bars. Staff was great and always available with a smile. The courtyard was very relaxing. We spent a few moments in the courtyard every morning and evening. Beds are comfortable and the room had a beach vibe. They offer beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. Bathroom in room 108 could use some updating.

Great location. Steps away from everything in Oak Bluffs.

The staff were exceptional and while I didn't personally meet the cleaning staff ~ GOD BLESS THEM ~ they are top notch.  Not a speck of dust on windowsill or corner.  I was truly impressed.

The rooms were comfortable and meet our needs.  I likely would choose a suite next time.  And nothing on the backside as we could hear the trash truck, septic cleaner and the car rental place VERY early.  We didn't catch any late night noise at all.

Overall the place was clean, fresh and bright which was all we needed.

CLEAN, FRESH & BRIGHT

The hotel was perfectly situated in the center of town and walking distance to everything.
The ferry at Oaks Bluffs can be seen from the hotel..
Rooms were clean premises were well-maintained and a big plus was having umbrellas available to the guests while it rained.

Great location right on the harbor, near the restaurants and downtown. The rooms were nicer than we expected. The staff were all fantastic and extremely welcoming and helpful. Hope to come again next summer. It exceeded our expectations.

From the time we arrived we received superior service. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.  The entire time we were there they continually checked to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Stayed at Surfside with friends…….all of the accommodations were excellent from the greeting when we arrived to the cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of all the staff to the availability of towels, beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach to the constant email updates before our arrival and during our stay to the ease of storing bags with he front desk to just a really exceptional customer service experience overall!! And a really great location as well! 

Can’t wait to go back!

2 night visit to Martha’s  Vineyard

It's the perfect place to stay for easy access to everything in Oaks Bluff, however, the quality of hotel is just average. If the location wasn't so good I would overall rate this hotel a 3.
The pictures look great but the rooms are old that had "cover ups" to make it look presentable. I guess for the price we paid I would have expected a much better room. Fortunately, the staff was great and very helpful to anything we needed.
