Check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean and nice (we had a suite so it was actually spacious). Loved the view of the beautiful lake! The front desk staff were helpful and friendly both in the evening and at check out. We had a fridge in the room, which was nice. There was a microwave available in the lobby. There was also a nice outdoor space along the water, a perfect place to gather and with friends.  We would 100% visit again.

Had a great weekend at Eddys. Nice clean and updated room. Tasty food at reasonable prices. Great fishing right off the docks at Eddys!  Free shuttles back and forth to Grand casino Mille Lacs. And the manager Keith is such a nice guy who goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied and does such a great job running Eddys!

Went to Eddys Motel for 1 night by myself. checked in and was told my room was ready on first floor. woke up and asked for my printed receipt and received it for my single room and checked out. WHEN I got home and received my credit card statement EDDYS charged me for 2 nights. The second room price was much higher. When I told them I did not rent 2 rooms they said I should have cancelled the 2nd room that I did not rent and was not told I rented any time, at check in, or check out or by any time prior. How would I know to cancel. You lost A good customer, and I will tell everyone I know, how YOU treat your guests.

VERY DISAPOINTED CUSTOMER!

We reserved this hotel to lessen our drive from Voyageurs National Park to the Minneapolis Airport.

What a surprise!  Beautiful hotel, modern design, very clean and comfortable.  The food was excellent (we had the walleye).

The gym equipment is a bit limited - just a couple of stair machines, but adequate.

Eddy's was decent, but a little overpriced in my opinion. I liked the lakeside walkout patio, although the cobwebs and bugs outside could've been cleaned up (which we also heard other guests complain about). We were disappointed that we were told our room would be cleaned and it wasn't. We were there 4th of July weekend, and the restaurant closed at 4:00 pm. No dinner for us! We had to drive 15 minutes to get McDonald's. There was also no shuttle to the casino as it states on their website. They need to keep their restaurant open longer or provide other food options, as there's nothing in the immediate area. The lakeside view was great, but the casino probably provides more amenities.

My husband and I stayed here and loved the room and restaurant. The place is very clean, quiet and is by a beautiful lake. Amazing views and had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this place. The casino isn’t far from the resort either.

Really nice 

Terrible!!! Food was horrible and so salty and fatty we could hardly eat it! Although the beds and room was clean and comfortable when we turned off our lights we saw a gap between the door and the wall at least 3/4 inch where if anyone wanted to could see into our room.  Our guide was 1/2 hour late, no continental breakfast as advertised on Saturday or Sunday - isn't that when most people are up??? No fish and the boat was having problems to no fishing at all!!!! The other couple that stayed at the hotel paid $80 less than us so the next day I contacted Mark the manager who told me he would check into it and get back to me.  Of course that didn't happen and he would not even answer the phone that same week when I called.  Horrible customer service, horrible food, horrible guide!!! Never again so beware!!!

Family fishing launch trip

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this newly updated resort. The spacious room was great, beds super comfortable and quiet.
The restaurant has a lovely lakeside patio and the food was delicious. French fries are a must order! We'll stay there again!

Awesome resort and restaurant

We planned a family fishing trip months in advance, we tried making sure we would have spots on the launch the day we booked our rooms. It should have been easy. we did not get the room we requested nor were we told we would have a spot on the launch. I'm not going to waste any more time on this review, we are looking into going elsewhere next year. what a horrible experience, everyone left there pissed off. I run into the tribal chairman at functions and i will tell her of the experience!!!!!!!!

nice place to visit great place for fishing great food and service I would recommend nice and clean great place for ice fishing the staff was great and very helpful I will return back for another we had a blast
